COCO MADEMOISELLE INTENSE

Tomorrow, on March 1st 2018, Chanel is releasing a gently amplified version called “Coco Mademoiselle Intense” and a few weeks ago, I was lucky to be a part of this campaign. You may have noticed that I’ve started to document my scent journey on social media in the last couple of months, and I couldn’t be happier to share the new “Coco Mademoiselle Intense” exclusively on my blog and social media with all of you today. Olivier Polge is the nose behind this creation and “Coco Mademoiselle Intense” is a sweeter yet spicier version of your traditional “Coco Mademoiselle If you were to visualise a tree, your base notes are the roots think, the middle notes (also known as heart notes) are the trunk, they are the core of the scent and the top notes are the lighter notes, the watery ingredients like fruits that you smell immediately, however they evaporate quickly and you are left with middle and base notes, and this is what sticks to you skin.

IS IT SPRING YET?

Something I learnt along the years of living in London, is to shop at Topshop. It’s almost a weekly ritual and it starts when the winter sales are over and just before the summer sales. I remember, when I was 17 (I wasn’t allowed to travel alone and sleep in a different city alone), I found a way around this and I traveled back in forth on the same day from Geneva to London with Easyjet, and a foldable shopping bag, just to go to Topshop.

This is my second time staying at Hotel Vernet and Paris, and I really had to share with you guys how amazing it was. Hotel Vernet is located in the 8th arrondissement, literally 2 minutes away from the Champs Elysées, Hotel Vernet is a five star hotel with the ideal location and close to everything. This time around, I only stayed in Paris for 2 days because I wanted to focus on Milan this season. If you’re planning a shopping weekend in the city, I strongly recommend Hotel Vernet, and ask for room 301 (this is the one I stayed in! ).
