ABOUT THE AUTHOR: Tiffany Hollis grew up in Macon, Ga where she developed a love for sports at an early age. She participated in many sports, but gymnastics and competitive cheerleading helped her attend Jacksonville State University on a scholarship. Tiffany graduated from JSU with a B.S. in Exercise Science and Wellness and later obtained a MBA from Saint Leo University with a concentration in Sport Management. She now resides in Atlanta, GA where she currently teaches middle and high school Health and Physical Education. Tiffany Hollis is a mother of two loving children, a hobby baker, and an entrepreneur. During her spare time, she enjoys traveling and visiting with friends and family. ABOUT PRETTY LITTLE JUMPER: Pretty Little Jumper is about a young girl who loves to jump and play. About Our Speaker: Antonio Pullen is God fearing, a father and husband above all. He was born in Augusta, GA but raised in Dublin, Georgia. Early in life he discovered a love for multiple sports, basketball, soccer and track among others. Fast forward, he's introduced to CrossFit. Spending a few years learning the methodology, he aspired to become a certified trainer. Pre-covid, his dreams became a reality. NASM provided a gateway for his studies and future endeavors. Currently a certified personal trainer, group fitness instructor, nutrition coach and youth exercise specialist, his passion is to see your idea of success become a reality. On Tuesday, April 20th, Chef Ashley will be making BANANA BEARS with the kids and our guest storyteller KIMAADA BLAIR will be reading the classic THE BERENSTAIN BEARS and the TROUBLE WITH CHORES book to the kids. ABOUT KIMAADA: She is a resident of Lithonia, GA and has been in the administrative field for over 21 years. Kimaada is currently the Executive Assistant to the Chief Information Officer, SVP of Gateway and Transactions Systems, and SVP of Digital Technology at Elavon. She has a heart to teach and develop young adults and has been pivotal in creating the professional development content for the Career-ology Internship Success Series at Elavon. Kimaada sits on the board as Vice President for the Women of Atlanta BRG where she is involved on US Bank’s women’s advancement initiatives. She also serves as the Vice President for the Atlanta Chapter Black Heritage BRG where she works diligently to support programming that educates, inspires and celebrates black culture. Outside of work she enjoys spending time with her two daughters Shemaiah and Lenora, immersing herself in DIY home projects, learning new things and traveling. Today I broke my quarantine rule of eating in a restaurant. We were the only guest. I'm so glad I ate at @forksandflavors with Chef @therealchefbrown1649 at the helm. I had their famous Shrimp & Gouda Grits. I was in Heaven, and the dark roux was all balanced with peppers, onions, tomato on a bed of Gouda and Garlic Grits. I also tried my mother's dish, Australian Sea Bass with Saffron Rice & Honey Brussel Sprouts. They host brunch every Sunday, and I can’t wait to go back.
