a happy girl & her gluten-free fish & chips! 🍟🐟 i was in london for four months, and @mayfairchippy was by far my favorite gluten-free fish and chips there! they have a separate fryer, and even have GF calamari which was incredible! my friend ordered the regular fish & chips which she also loved. i highly recommend checking this spot out if you’re in London - make a res because it’s a small spot and fills up quick! • #celiactravel #celiactravels #celiacdisease #coeliacdisease #coeliacdiet #coeliactravel #coeliacfriendly #glutenfreefood #glutenfreefoodie #glutenfreetravel #glutenfreelife #glutenfreeeats #glutenfreeengland #glutenfreeeurope #gffood #gffoodie #celiacawarenessmonth #celiacawareness #fishandchips #gffishandchips #glutenfreefishandchips

was finally reunited with @cava today when I grabbed lunch with a friend! mediterranean food is my fav and cava is simply the best. almost everything is GF and the staff will changes their gloves if you have an allergy! i got a salad with harissa honey chicken, crazy feta, eggplant, red pepper hummus, corn, pickled onions, pickles, cucumbers, tomatoes and olives…soooo many toppings and so good! and of course the lemon herb tahini dressing 🫶 • #bostonfoodies #glutenfreechains #glutenfreetravel #glutenfreefood #glutenfreefoodies #glutenfreeliving #glutenfreeeats #celiacdisease #celiacdiseaseawareness #celiacfoodie #celiaclife #celiacliving #celiacblogger #bostonglutenfree #glutenfreeboston #bostonian

stir fry is my go-to meal recently because it’s easy & simple and I can use what i have on hand! today i did tofu, carrots, peppers, red onion and brussel sprouts with some stir fry sauce that I bought, over a bed of rice with crushed cashews and sriracha on top. an easy, delish & filling lunch on this cold sunday afternoon!🫶 • #glutenfreerecipes #glutenfreefood #glutenfreefoodie #glutenfreelife #glutenfreevegetarian #gffood #celiac #celiacdisease #celiacdiet #celiacawareness #celiacfriendly #celiaclife #collegeceliac

it’s been forever since I’ve posted but I’m back and I’ve been traveling the world and have so much to share. i’m back in boston after a semester abroad, which was challenging but amazing and something I never imagined I’d be able to do with Celiac Disease. I tried so many new foods and went to so many cool places and I can’t wait to share it all with y’all! I’m also officially in my last semester of college which is CRAZY because I started this account when I was 16 and hadn’t a clue where I would end up in life. so much exciting stuff coming up in my life, and I’m excited to share it all! thank you to everyone who has stuck around for all these years and followed my journey, it truly means the world to me 🫶 • #glutenfreeblogger #glutenfreeblog #glutenfreefood #glutenfreetreats #glutenfreecroissant #glutenfreetravel #glutenfreetraveler #celiacdisease #celiacdiseaseawareness #celiacfoodie #celiactravel #celiactivist #celiacteen

exploring markets has been one of my favorite parts of being in london, especially when I find amazing GF vendors like @florisbakery 😍 this was one of my favorite bakeries I’ve tried since being here - every single thing was amazing. the pastry was SO flakey and delicious, and the arancini was so flavorful. I will definitely be coming back here before the end of my semester! 🥰 • #glutenfreefood #glutenfreebakery #glutenfreepastry #glutenfreedonuts #glutenfreefoodie #coeliac #coeliacuk #coeliacdisease #coeliacfriendly #coeliacsafe #glutenfreevegan #celiacdisease #celiacdiet #celiactravel #celiactivist #londoneats #londoneating #londoneater #londonglutenfree

for my birthday we checked out @wearemommi and let me tell you it did not disappoint!😍 it is peruvian-japanese fusion, and everything on the menu is gluten-free except one dish, which can easily be modified to remove the bread. they also catered to my dairy-free and vegan friends, and the food was AMAZING. we loved the sweet potato fries so much that we ordered a second plate.🤤 I’m going to make it my mission to try everything they make before I leave London - it’s that good! • #londonglutenfree #glutenfreelondon #glutenfreeuk #glutenfreefood #glutenfreefoodie #glutenfreeeats #glutenfreetravel #glutenfreerestaurant #celiacsafe #coeliacuk #coeliacfriendly #coeliacdisease #coeliacfoodie #coeliacsafe #celiacdisease #celiactravel #celiacfood #glutenfreeeurope #glutenfreedairyfree #veganfriendly

today’s lunch was simple & delicious, as all the best ones are 😍 I stir fried whatever veggies I had, which happened to be bell pepper, broccoli stems, carrots and edamame with some chicken sausage, and then added tamari and rice noodles! some spicy mayo and cashews to finish it off…so easy and good and makes delicious leftovers! • #glutenfreemeals #collegestudents #collegemeals #collegecooking #glutenfreeuk #glutenfreefood #glutenfreefoodie #glutenfreelife #glutenfreedairyfree #gfdf #celiacdisease #coeliac #coeliacdisease #coeliacfoodie #celiaclife #celiacfoodie

this brunch at @farmgirlcafe in notting hill blew my mom & I away😍 we shared the Seoul eggs and the apple and pear pancakes, with a side of chorizo, and every bite was amazing.🤤 the restaurant was adorable and our server made sure to let the kitchen know that I have celiac. i will definitely be checking out other locations of @farmgirlcafe around the city! • #glutenfreelondon #glutenfreeuk #glutenfreebreakfast #glutenfreebrunch #glutenfreepancakes #coeliacuk #coeliacdisease #coeliacfriendly #coeliaclife #coeliacfoodie #celiacdisease #celiactravel #celiacdisease #celiacdiseaseliving #celiacsafe #glutenfreetravel

went back to @libbyslondon because I just can’t get enough!❤️‍🔥 tried the spinach and ricotta pastry plus took a baguette home & both were devine 😍 can’t wait for them to open their other locations, crossing my fingers it happens before I head back across the pond!! • #londonfoodies #londoneats #londoneater #glutenfreelondon #glutenfreetravel #coeliacdisease #coeliaclife #coeliacuk #celiactravel #celiacfriendly #celiacsafe #glutenfreebakery #glutenfreeeurope #glutenfreeuk #coeliacblogger #coeliacsafe #glutenfreepastry #glutenfreedessert #glutenfreebread

squash season is my favorite season 🫶 used my leftover squash to make the best toast ever last week - avocado on some delish @geniusfoodofficial bread with squash and some parmesan, plus an egg sprinkled with parm! i’m usually a parm hater but @brialem influenced me to put it on my eggs & im hooked.🥰 random meals using whatever I can find in the fridge are my fav & this one was a 10/10 • #londonfood #londonglutenfree #glutenfreelondon #glutenfreelunch #celiacdisease #coeliac #coeliacdisease #coeliaclife #coeliacfriendly #coeliacfoodie #toasttuesday #toasttuesdays #squashseason #delicatasquash #delicata #squashtoast #glutenfreebread #glutenfreebreakfast #celiacdisease

sooo many of y’all have been asking where I went for GF high tea in London, so here it is: the Mad Hatter’s Tea in the Sanderson Hotel!🥰 I found this spot from @myglutenfreeguide blog post about GF tea spots (make sure to check out her blog if you’re looking for places in the UK or Europe - it’s been a lifesaver for me!) I’ve been twice now and both experiences were phenomenal. The sandwiches are all put on GF bread which is soft and fresh and warm! They say they can’t do all the desserts GF, but they brought out so many that I couldn’t possible guess what was missing. And the warm GF scone at the end was HEAVEN! if you’re traveling to London, I highly recommend booking this spot! • #glutenfreelondon #glutenfreefoodie #glutenfreeuk #glutenfreebaking #glutenfreebakery #glutenfreehightea #glutenfreepastry #glutenfreepastries #glutenfreetravel #celiactravel #celiactravels #celiacawareness #coeliactravel #coeliacdisease #coeliacfoodie #coeliaclife #celiaclife #celiacfood #celiacdiet

allergy-friendly easter bark

Spring has sprung, and Easter is around the corner…which means it’s time to make Easter desserts! To make this Easter bark, I used their limited edition individually wrapped holiday squares, and they were perfect. You could truly add whatever you’d like to your Easter bark. Get out all of your bark toppings, and prepare them as necessary (crush up pretzels, etc)Place 3/4 of your chocolate in a microwave safe bowl, and microwave in 30 second intervals until fully melted, stirring often.

a gluten-free guide to the philadelphia suburbs

I loved living close enough to the city to prompt day trips, but also enough in the suburbs to enjoy my runs along the stream in the woods. When I was diagnosed with Celiac Disease, I stopped going to a lot of my favorite local restaurants because of their limited gluten-free options. However, I discovered new favorites all over Chester County and the Philadelphia suburbs, and I’m going to share them all with you today! If you know me at all, you know that Ron’s is one of my favorite restaurants on Earth…this sounds dramatic, but it seriously is.

gluten-free ice cream: the flavors you’ve been searching for

Not all of their flavors are gluten-free, but there are a few stand-outs that are GF and usually hard to find. Make sure to check that any pint you pick up from them says gluten-free, since most of their flavors do contain gluten. I have also heard a ton about the So Delicious brand, which makes a huge assortment of GF and DF ice cream in rare flavors like cookie dough and cookies and cream. They are little balls of ice cream wrapped in dough, coming in four flavors: birthday cake, cookie dough, brownie batter, and sugar cookie.

college + celiac part 1: the college search

In most cases, students will spend at least a year eating food provided by the school in the dining halls, meaning it is important that there are Celiac-safe options. Against my will, my mom would often ask in front of the group about what kind of gluten-free options the dining halls offered for gluten-free students. Usually, their emails and contact information is listed on the school’s website, and this can be a great resource for learning more about the school’s gluten-free options. What gluten-free options are offered by the school’s dining services?
