This little fishing town of Port-en-Bessin was more our speed. Super quiet, picturesque with enough patisseries and restaurants to enjoy for a few nights stay. If you haven’t already been to Honfleur, Normandy in France then prepare to be tempted to book now. I fell in love with Normandy 14 years ago when my husband and I took a road trip around the region, and now we’re lucky enough to be back with our kids in tow. As beautiful a town it is, though, it’s crowded and touristy. An afternoon was enough for me, but you can see why the town inspired many artists.
