Highlights
The Pirates Den, A Year-Round Brigantine, New Jersey Restaurant Tradition

My go to choice is a crab wrap served with lettuce, tomatoes, roasted peppers and wasabi mayonnaise, accompanied by a choice of French fries or potato chips. During a recent visit, some Philly phriends ordered the house-made lobster crab cake on grilled panini bread with lettuce and tomato, served with cole slaw and choice of French fries or potato chips. Official dinner is served starting at 4:00 p.m., but a less expensive, limited 3 course “early bird” dinner menu is available from 3:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. Beyond the end of the sea wall are several miles of unguarded, natural beach belonging to the North Brigantine State Natural Area.

Hump Day Zentangle® Challenge #10 – Stuff Happens & Tangle Your “Chop” Edition

Since I’ve mentioned it and some Hump Day Challenge followers are Zentangle newbies, here are the 8 steps of the Zentangle method as posited by Maria Thomas and Rick Roberts, the couple who originated the trademarked Zentangle method. Please share your responses to this week’s challenge with us in the Hump Day Challenge Facebook Group and/or on your Instagram, Twitter or Flickr feeds. The Hump Day Zentangle Challenge Facebook group is a “closed” group to discourage axe murderers and other unsavory types. Hump Day Zentangle® Challenge #8 – Tangle Choice Day Edition

As someone who is no longer asked to show an I.D. to prove I’m old enough for a senior discount, I don’t know if that explains the speeded up time phenomenon, but I can confirm that the days, months and years, feel like they are whizzing by at Mach speed. If you decide to choose Windmill as your tangle this week, pay close attention to Hiroko’s instructions for turning your tile as you work.
