Highlights
I'm a travel blogger and I'm scared to travel

But if there’s one thing that I won’t let fear get in my way of I know it’s one thing to say, and another to do, but I want to do my best to help you bite the bullet and get out there into this big, beautiful world, whether it’s by yourself or with a friend. I know that going somewhere foreign makes it feel as though more things are likely to happen to you, but in reality, bad things happen everywhere you go, whether you like it or not. Don’t get me wrong, I’m not advising you travel to declared war zones, but don’t trust everything that comes up on your 6pm news feed.

The most unique place to stay in Petra

If you have been following along for some time, you will know just how much I love finding unique places to stay. From treehouses in Sri Lanka to monasteries and castles in Italy, I’ve got a love for staying in places that are authentic and far from the ordinary

Jordan to Israel border cross

There are three border crossings between Jordan and Israel – King Hussein Bridge (from Amman), Yitzhak Rabin Terminal/Wadi Araba (from Aqaba) and Jordan River/Sheikh Hussein (most Northern). Please note that this exit stamp from Jordan won’t affect your travels in the Middle East, but if you don’t want a Jordan exit stamp you can ask the customs officer. It’s bizarre that it’s not a problem and you can actually enter a country without a stamp in your passport. It’s because of this, that most neighbouring Middle Eastern countries won’t allow passport holders in that have an Israel stamp.

The best tour in Wadi Rum, Jordan

You spend the rest of the night counting shooting stars, eating like a true Bedouin and sharing wisdom and stories with a local. Morning comes, and you are awoken by light, spraying a soft pink hue on the mountains, near and far. I had heard so many good things about Wadi Rum, with most saying that you need to stay longer than just the day to truly embrace the desert beauty. The first night, my sister and I stayed at the Wadi Rum Magic Tours Bedouin campsite, where we had a very eclectic, but cosy tent for two. The tour that we went on was the full day Jeep tour, 1-hour camel ride & sleep under the stars experience, which was once again with Wadi Rum Magic Tours.
