The Churnet Valley Railway is a heritage railway near Stoke-on-Trent in Staffordshire. It operates along a part of the former North Staffordshire railway’s Churnet Valley line. The railway takes you on a journey back to the classic days of railway travel through some beautiful countryside which is known as Staffordshire’s “Little Switzerland”. The picturesque stations have a range of visitor facilities and there’s plenty to see along the way.

Things to do at Worsbrough Mill and Country Park review Worsbrough Mill is a 17th-century working watermill that is set in a 240-acre country park near Worsbrough in South Yorkshire. The Owl walk is a 5km walk that incorporates many past industries, this path can be muddy. The Badger walk is a 3.5km walk that is fairly level and suitable for wheelchairs. The Fox walk is also fairly level and again suitable for wheelchairs, this is approximately 2km in length.

Things to do at Wigfield Farm review Wigfield Farm is a working farm in Worsbrough, South Yorkshire, that is open to the public. They have over 60 species of animals including farm animals and exotic animals with a dedicated reptile house. Their animals include meerkats, cows, goats, ponies, donkeys, alpacas, sheep, rabbits and more.
