Churnet Valley Railway

The Churnet Valley Railway is a heritage railway near Stoke-on-Trent in Staffordshire. It operates along a part of the former North Staffordshire railway’s Churnet Valley line. The railway takes you on a journey back to the classic days of railway travel through some beautiful countryside which is known as Staffordshire’s “Little Switzerland”. The picturesque stations have a range of visitor facilities and there’s plenty to see along the way.

The Owl walk is a 5km walk that incorporates many past industries, this path can be muddy. The Badger walk is a 3.5km walk that is fairly level and suitable for wheelchairs. The Fox walk is also fairly level and again suitable for wheelchairs, this is approximately 2km in length.
