Iv picked up my phone so few times to take a photo or film in the last 7 weeks, you’d think I had completely forgotten that captured memories are for MEMORIES… and not solely for content. If I’m being completely honest, I walked away from socials thinking id utilize this time to get full healing and restoration after my relapse and personal struggles. Im not here to share that redemption story today, however, I am here to say that everyday Im working towards a better me. Iv already dealt with enough of the shame and embarrassment that comes from a story like mine to know that theres nothing I can say today thats ✨inspiring✨ except that Im ok showing up exactly how I am today. flaws and all. Im working on creating the best summer for my kids possible and I pray that during my own life journey Im able to show up in an impactful way here and bring anyone along with me who may be struggling with something. Life is in fact not always rainbows and sunshine. I didn’t expect the little mermaid to make me so emotional! 😭 This was one of my favorite movies growing up. To see a remake as an adult with so much representation brought actual tears to my eyes.
