NO COST Quick Tip That Will Transform Your Garage Door

If you happen to have a non-wooden garage door that has "decorative" windows that you want to simplify, then here's a NO COST tip that will take just a couple minutes to yield a completely different look... Remove the affixed inserts! I didn't snap photos of the easy process, but all we did was use a flat edge (flat-head screwdriver) to lift off the insert from each window panel (from the back side). This hot tip came courtesy of our painter, who spared us the unnecessary expense of replacing our garage door simply for cosmetic reasons.

New Front Door Makes All the Difference

Ever so slowly but surely, I will be recapping the details of the exterior improvements we have been making to our house since the end of 2017. Here's an interior photo I dug up to give you an idea of what the original door looked like. Hence, some realconstruction was required, which included new framing, a new support beam/header, waterproofing, insulation, and all the finish carpentry details. We also had to demolish an interior closet by the entryway (shown above) to accommodate the new wider opening.
