How I’ve trained so far: I found out my mile is 15 mins 🐢 And it takes me 1 hour and 33 mins to speed walk an 8k. What I also learned is I have weak glutes as made evident by sore hip flexors I currently have now after all that 👵🏼 LOL I HATE RUNNING, but I figured I’d use this as a push to be more active and get in better shape while I support a friend who really wants to do this race. I’m trying to prepare for this 8k as gentle as possible because when I trained for just a 5k race years ago, it made my psoriasis flare-up bad. My skin hasn’t recovered 100% since then. Ugh
