White Jeans can be a little tricky but here’s a couple of things to keep in mind. What better way to celebrate Spring, longer brighter days and a little more warmth on our faces than by refreshing our wardrobes and adding some fresh whites and neutrals such as Olive Greens and calming buttery hues

April is going to be a crazy month with cosmetic renovations such as new wood flooring being laid, painting, deciding on colour schemes, wallpapering etc . We’ve decided to go for a velvet honey sofa called the Tennison large. It’s called the Tennison and apparently was designed by House and Garden Magazine as part of a collaboration. While sofa shopping at an Arlo & Jacob showroom, I got distracted by the need to take a shoe selfie for my Instagram.

Its black and white crisp pattern is easy to style and is a nice fresh alternative to last Winter’s favourite animal – the leopard. This week I have worn this skirt with a black short knit and a brown suede coat and my black knee boots but it would also look eye-catching with an attractive primary colour like blue or green. I love switching my dark coats this time of year for a white option which immediately makes you feel a lot more polished than you might feel. We moved house this week and polished is one thing I don’t feel (dusty cardboard boxes will do that to you)  but this outfit which I wore for a last minute meeting certainly made me feel more pulled together.
