The wrap is nice and lightweight – which was good in this warmer than usual weather we’ve been having. The silk in this blend makes for different wash directions so I would definitely recommend asking the weaver for wash instructions and stay as close and true to those instructions as possible. The weave does make this wrap airy – which when joined with silk’s natural tendencies of keeping heat in and being breathable – makes this wrap awesome for all seasons. Some of my sloppy wrap jobs were masked by the gorgeousness of the wrap.

I think it’s a lot of fun. A bit of diagonal stretchiness, which helped with the nice and tight passes over her bum and my chest. I’m not sure how broken in it was, but it felt like it was almost at the perfect sweet spot. I need to check out more of their wraps and fun patterns – like donuts!

I was able to get on the tester list for Marisso Slings Venus Glamour I’ve wanted to try out a glitter wrap that wasn’t itchy or scratchy – and didn’t bother Dumpling’s skin. There’s a limited give with Venus Glamour, with a tiny bit of bounce. But now I know Marisso Slings has soft glitter – who knew that was possible?

I was able to talk A into making a weekend out of it, celebrating Tot’s Birthday a bit early. Tot Squad was cleaning strollers, there was a lot of baby wearing booths and fun accessories. There was a postcard station where you could send a friend a postcard, which I LOVED. It was my kids’ favorite corner until Tot decided to pop bubbles with his face, get soap in his eye, and run around blind and screaming.
