For this anniversary, Andrew Fefer from Group Health Cooperative of Eau Claire, partnered with CDC and created a 30 minute video of all the events from the past year, including the Eau Claire Express Day, Christmas Party, Bowl For Kids CDC will be showing this video to the community, which also has interviews of board members, employees, community members and shows many events.

Affordable Traveling Tips

Every time I fly somewhere, I put the dates and location in the app Hopper. I found a flight from the US to Iceland for $200 with no layovers and from there it was only $100 to Spain! But, on the contrary, if you wait until you get to the hostel, they usually have cheaper travel excursions than if you book online. For example, on the Amalfi coast, one way I took a taxi and it was $10 euro per person and on the way back, I took the bus which was only $1.30 euro per person!

Greece

It was great to lay in the sun and with warm weather, since I knew I would be going home to cold Wisconsin soon. Rachel and I were going on a boat tour and to get to the ocean, we went down countless flights of stairs. Our friend, Abed, and I went on one and Rachel wanted her own ATV. I hope I can go back to some of the places I went to in Europe

Guess Who Sat On A Cactus In Croatia?!

The first day in Split, Croatia was Stella’s birthday and we hiked a trail with 361 stairs, but once we got to the top, the view of the ocean and city of Split was unbelievable! We went to another city close to Mostar and my dad, Stella and Rachel climbed a castle overlooking the town. The drive is interesting, because while driving in Croatia, we stopped at customs and for 20 miles the road is in Bosnia and then we stop in customs again to finish the rest of the drive in Croatia until we actually arrived in Bosnia. Our last day in Dubrovnik, my parents and I took a cable car to the top of the city, while Stella and Rachel did a steep, hour long hike.
