It feels like forever ago since this pic was taken. It was only back in March 😮 Back before CV and lockdowns had taken the world by storm. ⛈ And what a storm it has been. 🧠 Your brain is hard-wired to always protect and will always want to keep you safe unless you override it. It will always focus on whatever you believe is true too. But we all have our memories, right? 💃 What we focus upon is our choice. Sometimes that doesn't seem easy at all and it's as hard AF. This vegetarian bowl of colourful treats was absolutely delicious. Full of different flavours and textures, it was just SO good. 😋 For a non-vegetarian I've recently discovered through a series of blood work that I need to be eating more vegetables, rather than animal protein. No snacking during meals and I need to be eating a wider variety of both protein and vegetables. This will help reduce my cholestoral (and so will not consuming as much cheese!) 😆 The good thing about the extensive blood work showed although I'm over my desired and recommended weight atm, I'm very healthy with all other tests showing that I sit in the normal and healthy range. ✅ Pretty happy with that. 😊💃 Do you cook tasty vegetarian meals? It takes courage to change something in life, to do something different. You know that voice in your head that tells you that you can't? That reminder of a conversation you had years ago when someone pointed out something negative about your abilities. Loved swapping our coastal home for a home-away-from-home recently to get back to nature. Feel the grass beneath my feet, hear the birdsong throughout the day, an open fire and surrounded by a beautiful garden. Living in a high rise is great but I do miss a garden. Growing my own vege and watching a new garden spring to life. A highlight from my recent trip away. My beautiful girlfriend @beauty_organics_angela arranged for this decedent chocolate birthday cake 🎂 for me. The restaurant lights were turned off, the candles lit 🔥 and all the staff sang happy birthday 🥳 Luckily they didn’t have the number of candles 🕯 for each year of life otherwise the fire brigade 🚒 might have been there too! 😂 🤪
