I am a professional photographer, speaker, writer and blogger based in the Pacific Northwest. I have spent 10 years building a successful photography studio and have turned that business into a corporation; creating and running conferences, mentorship programs and traveling across the globe speaking to small business owners and creatives as a business professional, all while raising two small children and serving and giving back to my community.
My platform exists to inspire the beginning entrepreneur, the working or stay-at-home mom and every woman in between. I encourage and motivate women though beautiful imagery & storytelling.
My followers range from early 20s college age girls who are inspired to find themselves traveling the globe, the first time mom trying to find balance in her new world to those in mid-life looking to FINALLY grab life by the horns. I currently reside in Seattle, WA with my Youtuber/photographer husband and our two precious daughters, Wisdom (age 7) and Courage (8 months).
Slowly working through my ‘23 adventure bucket list ✔️ Today, I learned how to ski….. or how to fall gracefully and get back up with giant wood sticks attached to my feet. 👀😂😂 Head to the stories for proof & lots of giggles! Hi, I’m Tash! A lifestyle and family travel content creator. I love sharing about black joy, changing your narrative, content creation (at least my plan is to share more) and adding a little more sunshine and hope to your feed through my stories and posts. I’m passionate about social justice, using your influence to impact the lives of others (at whatever level you are) and raising confident Black girls to enter the world. Even in all that I share, there’s so much I leave out…. What you don’t see is the meetings, the hours spent planning, writing and editing to produce the quality content work (and the team behind me that helps make it go) What you don’t see is intentional and dedicated time touching in and making time for family and friends, near and far, to keep myself honest and grounded. What you don’t see is the constant questioning and guessing about whether all I’m doing is enough when the rules are constantly changing. What you don’t see is all the really bad pictures, the tantrums my kids throw or the really dark PNW ☔️ days that make creating so hard. So many of us share so much… and creators catch a lot of flack for sharing what I think is called a “highlight reel,” but it’s really just answering the call to put a little more light 💡 and love 💕 into a world that needs it so much. 𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁’𝘀 𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗽𝗲𝗼𝗽𝗹𝗲 𝗱𝗼𝗻’𝘁 𝗴𝗲𝘁 𝘁𝗼 “𝘀𝗲𝗲” 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗰𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗼𝗿 𝗽𝗼𝘀𝘁? 𝗧𝗲𝗹𝗹 𝗺𝗲 𝗯𝗲𝗹𝗼𝘄! And shout out to @emmasedition for this trend! I’ve been wanting to do it for months. ——————————— Seattle Content Creator | Seattle Blogger | Microinfluencer | Microblogger | Content Creator | Tacoma Creator | Tacoma Blogger | mom blogger | Seattle | Seattle photographer | Tacoma photographer
Kicking off the New Year with a wardrobe revamp for me and my little fashionista and I love going to a place where I can find top fashion looks for Wisdom, that are age-appropriate and allow her to express herself, while also shopping for myself, and @evsieofficial and @maurices make that all possible. With pieces to layer, unique textures and designs @evsieofficial has been a favorite in our house for my little pre-tween girl. #sponsored evsie™ is a style shop, available only at maurices, for the tween girl (ages 7-14) to help her discover her own unique style in a fun, playful and supportive way. Wisdom loves @evsieofficial, it makes her feel confident, stylish and happy and she can find clothes she loves and I feel good about her wearing that are appropriate for the unique age she is. And as she grows, coordinating looks is still a thing and @evsieofficial and @maurices allow us to uplevel our style from matchy matchy to coordinating for “mommy & me” moments for every season. Thank you, T A S H, for spreading the word about the importance of blood donation! "January is National Blood Donor Month and I am humbled to team up with @bloodworksnw to thank donors for their selflessness. In 2017, I was the recipient of 2 units of blood while suffering from internal bleeding. That blood helped save my life and put me on the path toward healing. None of us ever know when we or someone we love might find themselves in a situation that requires the need for blood - I certainly never imagined that for myself, but when I needed it, I am so thankful it was available to me. In honor of National Blood Donor Month, I personally want to say THANK YOU! Without donors, we wouldn’t have blood on the shelves for patients whose lives depend on it, like mine. Donors' selflessness saves lives. To learn more about about the work that @bloodworksnw is doing, or to sign up to donate head to their website http://ow.ly/1ify50MvguJ"

Every good thing must come to an end and if I have learned nothing in life, that is one truth I can come back to. I have been breastfeeding 🤱🏾 or pumping every single day since February 6th, 2019. That is 4 years, 1,460 days and approximately 2,190 hours. That’s 274 eight hour work days - I mean, can you even imagine? All while parenting additional children, waking up every day to do several other jobs, and regardless of how I am feeling or what is going on in my life, responding on command and demand to whichever baby was calling at the moment. Growing up in foster care, without the nurturing of a mom and being completely detached from what it meant to be a mother, it was a very slow and hard journey for me to connect. Breastfeeding was and has been my saving grace. I struggled so much those first couple of months as a mother, learning, healing and growing, but nursing quickly became my most cherished time with my children. It taught me what mothering was all about, an unspoken lesson that I needed so badly that could only come by experience and it has been instrumental in helping me to bond with my babies. For the last 4 years, my body has belonged to everyone, except me. This picture, this reel, is a symbol of intimacy of a relationship I carry with each of my girls, that for ME began at the breast. Wisdom, age 10 nursed for 28 months, Courage, almost age 4, nursed for 24 months and Glory, who turned 2 last week, is still nursing… but I’m tired and I know that it’s time to close this chapter of our book, 𝗦𝗼, 𝗣𝗟𝗘𝗔𝗦𝗘 𝗱𝗿𝗼𝗽 𝗮𝗻𝘆 𝘄𝗲𝗮𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗶𝗽𝘀 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘁𝗼𝗱𝗱𝗹𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗺𝗮𝘆 𝗵𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝗯𝗲𝗰𝗮𝘂𝘀𝗲 𝗜 𝗮𝗺 𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗱𝘆 and need help. There is nothing in MY motherhood that has meant more than being able to feed my girls and it will be a season I will cherish for the rest of my life.
My entry into this year has been slower than my ambitious, overachieving, goal-setting self would like to admit. 👀 I feel like I making a slow crawl to 2023 and like so many others, there’s so much I left in 2022 undone. If I’m being honest, I wasn’t ready for a new year because I felt I was just hitting my stride AND now our whole lives (a tad bit dramatic 🥴) are in transition…. Head to my stories for the tea 🫖 So I know everyone shared their “word for the year” like 3 weeks ago, but I’ve always been slow to pull up, so I’m sharing mine now. I am grateful I waited, because they really just came to me the last few days. 🙏🏾 In order to achieve anything in life you need a plan or a 𝗦𝗧𝗥𝗨𝗖𝗧𝗨𝗥𝗘, after that, you need the willingness to 𝗗𝗜𝗦𝗖𝗜𝗣𝗟𝗜𝗡𝗘 yourself and 𝗦𝗔𝗖𝗥𝗜𝗙𝗜𝗖𝗘 what you need to get there…. once you have those things, you have to buckle down and 𝗙𝗢𝗖𝗨𝗦 I’m in a season of a lot I unknowns but still big requirements of me - but I know that with structure, discipline, sacrifice, focus and my God, I’ll always win. 🙌🏾 So instead of one word, I have a plethora of them, because I do my best work in community! 𝗔𝗻𝘆𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝘄𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗼 𝘀𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗶𝗿 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗱 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘆𝗲𝗮𝗿, 𝗼𝗿 𝗡𝗲𝘄 𝗬𝗲𝗮𝗿’𝘀 𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗼𝗹𝘂𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗶𝗳 𝗶𝘁 𝗶𝘀𝗻’𝘁 𝘁𝗼𝗼 𝗽𝗿𝗶𝘃𝗮𝘁𝗲? I would love to hear, drop below! And head to my stories to learn how I’m already putting my words to action and the tools I’m using. Happy Tuesday! new year, old me | word of the year | new year resolutions | resolution | vision mapping | vision board | goal setting | 2023 | new year, new me | life transitions
Not me thinking because she was the 3rd girl, she would slide in and just fall in line Sis was born in the middle of the pandemic, on a historic day (in Haitian history) and popped into our world to the front of the line and RUNS the whole house and everyone in it 👀 I guess when Revolution is in your blood AND your name 🇭🇹, you figure out who you are and what you’re made of early. 💁🏾♀️ My little powerhouse. Last and final day of our trip to Disneyland and reposting these words from my friend @thebirdspapaya who just happens to be at Disney World and who has given me permission. —————————— “Real talk: Disney is actually NOT all magical. You've saved to come here. You've spent to be here. Your expectations are high and the reality in moments is sometimes tough. Your kids will probably annoy you. There will be points that you are like "why did we decide to go somewhere that we have to be up before 7am for?" and you're bound to have a few disappointments along the way. But I promise you, you won't hold onto that. There's a reason that you look back and don't remember when your kids fought for your side on the rides. You won't remember your sore feet. You won't hold onto the wait times or lack of sleep. You hold onto parts you can't even predict. The little moments when you're just in it and you all laugh or all see it and lock eyes like "wow, we're here". You sing to songs. You conquer fears. You bond in new ways and while it's not a relaxing beach you're on, this is a vacation like no other. In your unit there will be leaders and followers, but you are all there to be kids. You're all there to enjoy the magic. 0-100 years old. Disney gives you the opportunity to experience magic. It's up to you to find it and hold onto it. We catch those moments. We release the rest. And that's why we keep coming back. —————————— Final day in stories and the other days are in the highlights. Skipped the school bus 🚌 line and hopped in line to board a flight ✈️ down to Disneyland to kick off 2023. Got a taste of the magic 🪄 for the first time on my 40th birthday, 6-months ago, thanks to @alaskaair and @disneyparks and now I’m a whole #DisneyAdult so when the opportunity presented the chance to bring back @wisdomcourageglory for their very first visit, I had to take it. It’s raining and it’s cold, and one of us pulled out our new hairstyle 🙄🙃 but none of that matters at Disneyland!
