My name is Samantha Greer and I'm an allergy-friendly blogger and food reviewer. My blog is called Allergy Ally and I'm based mainly on Instagram, but I am on several other social media platforms as well. Although my main food allergy is gluten, I also taste-test products for other allergies as well. My goal with this blog is to spread awareness about food allergies, as well as find good gluten-free or allergy-friendly foods for people struggling to find these quality alternatives. Anything I review, I have multiple people try the product as well so that the rating is more accurate. We base the ratings on the tastes of both gluten-full and gluten-free people in order to best assess the product. I would be happy to review and feature some of your products on my page! Gluten Free Costco Haul! This haul has a lot of new items that I've never tried before, but still a few reliable buys. The nut bars are a super reliable quick grab and go find. I'm a commuter student so that is super important. The Belgioso cheeses always taste amazing. And of course, you can't go wrong with smoked salmon! The Pupusas are surprisingly good for something microwave ready and not freshly cooked. The Pho-in-One soup has great flavor, but the texture wasn't all there. The noodles were hard and tough and the chicken was rubbery. I really wanted to love it because I really did love the flavor, but the texture just wasn't as good as it could have been. πBurtons Grill & Bar Overall rating: 10/10 Burtons has always been a 10/10 experience every time I've been. They have absolutely delicious food, informed staff, and amazing allergy procedures. They have a separate gluten free menu, but can also accommodate additional allergies. When handling allergy orders, they use separate kitchen areas, utensils, and the plates are a different shape. Every time I have asked, the staff have been well informed on what cross contact is and helpful with answering any questions that I have regarding allergy procedures. As for the food, the flavors were spot on. The lemon chicken soup was a well seasoned comforting soup with a bright lemon finish. The lobster roll had an excellent flavor profile as well and the bun had a great texture and held together well. I tried out @honeyandivygf for the first time today! The raspberry white chocolate cookie was delicious! The texture was a little off with the sugar cookie and twix bar, but the flavors were good.
