GREEN MOONG DAL OATS INSTANT DOSA #eatwithmicku Green moong dal /Pesarattu is one of the most famous breakfasts of Andhra cuisine(India), I started adding oats, spinach leaves for some additional nutrients. Suitable for babies > 6months , skip salt till 12months RECIPE Ingredients 🔸1/2 cup whole green moong dal 🔸 spinach leaves 🔸 Cumin seeds 🔸 2 tbsp oats powder (roast and grind old fashioned oats) 🔸 Salt as per babies age OPTIONAL 🔸1 tbsp rice flour 🔸 Grated ginger 🔸Chopped coriander leaves How to 🔸Firstly, in a large mixing bowl soak moong dal for at least 4-6 hrs/overnight. 🔸Further, drain off the water and add dal, spinach leaves,ginger, green chili, and to smooth batter. add water if required. 🔸Transfer to a large bowl. 🔸Add oats flour and salt (as per babies age) 🔸Let it rest for 10 min 🔸Mix the batter well and get to dosa batter consistency. add water if required. further, pour a ladleful of the batter on a hot tawa. 🔸Spread it in a circular motion and cook both sides of dosa. Reading these books will help him identify his feelings in a better way. ✅ Body awareness- I feel this is a right age to start teaching them about their body and limits ✅ Potty training- We haven’t started it yet and due to our present situation, we might need to wait for couple of months . So reading the book is part of preparation. 🎁Art kit- Coloring books, set of colors, finger paint. Check my previous reels for benefits of including colors in this age. I also added an Indian map puzzle to the list, but later realized it is a little complex for 2 yrs. old -so did not include it in the guide.
