as it turns out, there is more than one “happiest place on earth” 🏰✨ @disneylandparis has many similarities to the parks we know & love here at home - but with enough unique differences that it feels worlds away and like an entirely new experience too. Plus, spending a day in Disneyland Paris, is much easier to add onto a trip to the City of Love 🇫🇷 than you might think! 🚊 for just 15€, public transportation can take visitors round trip from the Eiffel Tower to the park’s front door in only 40ish minutes. 🎟️ & most surprising of all, @disneylandparis’ daily park tickets are around HALF the price of what it costs for 1-day admission to either WDW or Disneyland in California. 🤯 #disneylandparis #disneycreators #disneyparks

an afternoon swim straight out of a fairytale 🏰 save this spot for your next trip to France! @chateau_des_arpentis_amboise in the Loire Valley is a castle hotel nestled in the quiet countryside with only 15 guest rooms, an incredible pool, a stately salon and a terrace patio perfect for picnicking. You’ll be surprised as I was to find room rates are less than $200 a night for a classic double room at this lavish chateau. The family suites are more spacious than a small home and come complete with twin bids in tiny turret rooms too. I truly don’t think I’ve ever enjoyed a hotel stay more than this one. croissants across the cathedral on a last Parisian morning. 🥐 Even though the Notre-Dame is currently closed for renovations, it’s still worth a visit to marvel from afar! We grabbed breakfast at a bistro on Île De Saint-Louis so we could enjoy a view of the basilica and its famous flying buttresses over a cup of “café.” 📚 Travel tip: after a leisurely breakfast near Notre-Dame, head across the Seine to be at @shakespeareandcoparis by 10:00 am. There’s usually a line to get in & peruse this historic (& iconic) bookstore throughout the day, but arriving first thing in the morning - even with the crowds - for a moment it can feel like you have the bookshop all to yourself. 📸 Photos aren’t allowed inside, or I’d share a sneak, but trust me - it is worth the hype!! My French friend recommended we visit Musée Nissim de Camondo while in Paris. Her suggestion was more so along the lines of “Alice trustttt me, if you do nothing else do this, *you* will LOVE it!” …. And then she added that @sezane was two blocks away. 🙃 Paris, I really do love you!! Like I did, add this historic home tour of 18th century French decorative arts to your list of “must sees” in Paris, please & thanks! Hello again! 👋🏻 We lost ourselves completelyyyy to Parisian life these last few days … & I highly recommend it. 😆 Adding a couple days onto the front end of our trip at the last minute allowed our time in Paris to be all the more leisurely. And full of surprises - like impromptu 2€ carousel rides followed by park bench croqué monsieurs! 🇫🇷 Somehow in Paris, “leisurely” can also be simultaneous with “nonstop!!” I mean, bookending a long leisurely lunch with multiple museum visits + sightseeing can truly make 18,000 steps in one day feel all the more relaxing, right? Foodie favorites: we loved brunch at @lecafedeflore, dinner at @lesdeuxmagots and grabbing a light lunch to go from the food stall at Parc Monceau! 🎠 #paris #parisrestaurant #parkmonceau #cafedeflore #lesdeuxmagots

a reunion long anticipated with mon amie Clotilde! 🇫🇷🏰 The two of us toured castles together years & years ago and now it’s only fitting we’re back at it again - but this time with our little girls in tow. 🥹 The first stop on our French adventure was a day trip to visit my French soul sister in her petite village. Clo’s family hosted us for a long leisurely lunch followed by a visit to the “neighborhood chateau.” Lots of laughs filled our day & a pact that the next reunion is in 3 years max - not 13!! 🏰 Fun fact: Chateau de Maintenon was built in the 13th century but fully transformed in the late 1600s by Louis XII for his new wife - aka his former mistress / children’s nanny. 🙃 Well, it sure is beautiful! #frenchadventure #chateaudemaintenon #frenchcastle
