Famous Polish Graves in Krakow

Known nationally as All Saints’ Day (Dzień Wszystkich Świętych) and All Souls’ Day (Dzień Zaduszny, or Dzień Wszystkich Zmarłych) respectively, these two days of the calendar year are dedicated to prayer and paying tribute to the deceased by visiting their graves. On the occasion of the All Saint’s and All Soul’s Day as I took a walk in some of the cemeteries like Rakowicki, I visited some of their grave sites. -Cricoteka: The Art and Documentation Centre for Kantor’s work were built and completed in September 2014, to house some of Kantor’s works. Recipient of an Honorary Oscar, the Palme d’Or, as well as Honorary Golden Lion and Golden Bear Awards, -He was a prominent member of the “Polish Film School”.

The Tradition of Religious Candles – Znicze

Living in a predominantly Catholic country like Poland, one cannot miss the annual All Saints Day and All Souls Day which falls on the 1st and 2nd November respectively. As per Catholicism, the celebration begins with All Hallows Eve, then All Saints Day and finally All Souls Day which together is also known as Triduum. I was curious to know where this tradition originated and at the same time, I wanted to know where the modern-day tradition of candle lighting came from. The ritual of Zaduszki began with people tiding the graves of relatives, decorating them with flowers, lighting candles and ended with the priest blessing the graves.

The Spirit of the Land – Evolve Back Resorts, Kabini

Today I would like to take you on another enchanting adventure deep into the heart of Karnataka, where elephants roam free and a thriving National Park exists. Set up in 1955 in Coorg, in an area of 285 sq km, the park was accorded the status of a National Park and extended in 1974, with some reserved forests from the Mysore district being added, to bring the total area to the present 644 sq km. The two key features of the Pool Hut are of course the swimming pool and the veranda that opens out overlooking the river Kabini, where you or your loved ones can enjoy a nice morning coffee or enjoy the later afternoon sunset over the river Kabini. For those who are more adventures and would like to explore nature then these activities are for you Boat Safari: On the Boat Safari, you will be taken upstream from the resort on the Kabini River to where the river itself separates the Nagarhole National Park from the Bandipur National Park.
