March 2019

I said this early on, when I first started these monthly recaps, some months there will be a lot I want to talk about (like in Febaury, read my blog post:) and in other months there will be very little to talk about, like this month. So here's what's been happening this month... I've been thinking about a content/schedule change up next month which I'm quite excited about (it's always the simple things that get me haha! ) I've left emails unanswered for a little too long and I haven't had a lot of work opportunities come through so far this year, which has really put a downer on me and my mood towards work.

50 Items To Transform Your Wardrobe For Spring, From £9.99

I'm so ready for a season of sunshine filled days and warm weather. I'm a huge lover of Autumn/Winter and rarely ever wish it away I've curated a wishlist for the season, filled with gorgeous skirts and dresses that I can't wait to wear over the next few months. 5 Small Steps I'm Taking To Become a Morning Person

Sometimes I think it makes me worry more (which is a whole issue in itself) and as I know that completely switching off doesn't work for me, instead I use night shift mode. Like I said, I find it very difficult to completely switch off from social media so picking up a book an hour or so before going to sleep actually helps my mind focus on something other than my phone for a while, which is said to be really important when it comes to setting yourself a sleep routine. I don't think it's a bad thing to catch up on social media in the morning - it is a big part of my job and life after all - but doing this once you're up and out of bed is so much better in terms of kick starting your day. I know a lot of people suggest getting ready in the mornings, even if you're working from home or having a lazy day, but I don't think that works for me.
