The Wednesday Issue: The New Sweater Weather

So I took the step of getting myself a new domain and working on the new website. I got a new layout, recategorising all the posts and featured images (oooh that was fun! ), and making sure that the website is easy on the eye and easy for you to navigate. As I stated in my About page on my new website, I found myself craving to write about more topics, beyond the ones I’ve covered so far on Sweater Weather. Thank you to everyone who took the time to read my blog and I hope all of you will enjoy the brand-new blog!

Lucas by Jay McLean

High school senior Lucas Preston has it all: star of the track team, a scholarship waiting for him, an apartment to himself and a revolving door of girlfriends. It took only sixteen clicks and eight seconds for Lucas to realize that his like for Laney had turned into love. Secrets so dark and so deep below the surface that the only way he can fight them is to stay high, high, high. Until one girl, one night, asks one life-changing question: What’s beneath the bravado, Logan Preston?

Tiny Pretty Things – Dhonielle Clayton and Sona Charaipotra

Like the synopsis suggested, the book focuses on three characters, Bette, June, and Gigi. The three are dancers for the American Ballet Conservatory – which is related to the American Ballet Company. Pretty much like any other ballet books I’ve read before, the concept of these ballet schools are make it or break it. I mentioned in my why I read more than one book at once post that I took a break reading this book because sometimes those dramas can be too much.

The Fortunate Ones – R.S. Grey

Besides being a legacy member at the club, he’s a tech mogul and Austin’s most eligible bachelor. He steps closer and gently lifts my chin, forcing me to look back at him. He’s brushing off my anger, stepping closer and forcing his way past my defenses. My eyes flutter closed as he bends and presses a kiss to my cheek, my chin, then lower, tipping my head back so he can reach the smooth recess at the nape of my neck.
