Fudgy Chocolate Brownies

What I like most about this recipe is you can change up the white and milk chocolate and replace with walnuts, pecans or whatever your heart fancies! I followed this recipe from the BBC GoodFood website: Place the butter and dark chocolate in a bowl over a pan of simmering water. Once melted, leave the mixture to cool at room temperature Pre-heat the oven to gas mark 4 and line a shallow 20cm square tin with baking paper Sieve the flour and cocoa powder in a separate bowl, chop the white and milk chocolate into chunks and leave aside Break 3 large eggs into a large bowl and tip in 275g golden caster sugar. Mine took up to 45 minutes to bake, but that’s probably because I used a smaller tin so be mindful of the time

Mini Chocolate Orange Cheesecakes

Press the biscuit mix into one large dish or mini glasses and leave to set in the fridge for 30-40 minutes. Melt the 200g of a Chocolate Orange in a bowl over simmering water, making sure the bowl doesn’t touch the water. In a separate mixing bowl use an electric whisk to whisk the double cream till it forms soft peaks. Stir in the melted chocolate and cream cheese mixture into the double cream making sure to mix until smooth and well combined.

Valentine’s Dessert Table

With Valentine’s day fast approaching I thought I’d throw it back to this little dessert table I put together for a Valentine’s party last year. Any excuse for a party (and one that includes desserts) and I’m there in a heartbeat – who said Valentine’s day is only for couples? For those wanting to throw a Valentine’s party, or for those who simply want to put together a dessert table just so they can gorge on all the sugar themselves, hopefully this’ll provide some inspiration. I liked how simple the table was but you could most definitely tell it was a Valentine’s party!

Picnic Party

I wanted all the guests to have their very own personalised “lunch boxes” filled with sandwiches, crisps, chocolates and personalised water bottles. I purchased these white party boxes off of Ebay and created my own personalised labels using Word which I then simply glued on. knows that no party is complete for me without a dessert table! These included: I loved how the dessert table added another dimension to the party and it’s always great watching the guests tuck in at the end of the party!
