Incredible hiking, epic sunrises and sunsets, jaw dropping wildlife, diving, pink beaches, sand-bars and clear blue skies are just a fraction of what you can expect from the Komodo Islands. Well, before flying out to Myanmar we forgot to check arguably the most important part of the trip and arrived at Surat Thani airport in Thailand, ready to board a flight to Myanmar with NO VISAS! On one occasion when I (Jake) was flying to the US to meet Marie right at the start of our relationship, we ended up booking three flights we never used just to get on the flight to the US. I booked a flight to Mexico first, which I realised afterwards doesn’t count as an onward ticket (take note). We were sitting in our hotel room after we had dinner when we decided to check the time of our flight for the first time in weeks.
