I am a wife and mother to two beautiful little girls. One is 6 years old and the other is 4 months old. In the midst of the chaos I ask myself this question all the time. When McKenna (my second baby girl) was born it was a no brainer that I would stick her in modeling like her big sister. But whether she would like it or want to pursue it like her sister that I wasn't sure of. I figured play it by ear and let her decide. She shot her first campaign right away around 4 months old but didn't go that great thanks to her wanting to roll over. And the next one well let's just say that didn't go that great either because she wanted me in the photos with her (that was not going to happen). But hey I can't blame a girl. After a few more shoots and really getting her feet wet she decided she really did like it. So here we are 4 years later shooting her biggest campaign to date with @kidzcon and I couldn't be more excited for her! I get asked often why I got my daughters into modeling. Well the simplest answer is… it was undeniable that my oldest was a natural. Because I was at home with her 24/7 I learned how to work the camera a lot and she just had it! So I did some research and submitted her around 6 months old. But took 2 years to get signed. (Her sisters were able to get signed to the same agency a lot easier since she was already there.) She paved the way for them in a sense. ☺️ Here are just a few of my favorites I took when she was tiny!
