Amazing stay 'at home' experiences you need to try!

Luckily, I have done some research and found so many incredible ‘at home’ experiences that you can choose from, ranging from delicious dinners to having a puzzle night in, perfect for making date night or family nights more fun and interactive! , just had the laptop handy in case we needed some clues and spent our time and attention on solving a super fun puzzle that made us use our brains in an engaging way – much better than a zoom quiz! You can receive it nationwide via Restokits and you receive about 475g of vacuum packed Provisions fondue mix (a blend of 3 different mountain cheeses), 10cl of white wine, a bag of bread cubes and a garlic clove. The Cheese Club is a fantastic way to experience 7 different types of artisan cheese paired with a half bottle of muscat wine and accompanied by crackers, and chutney.

20 lessons learned a year on from the start of the pandemic

We had exciting plans to go to Panama, The Maldives, Doha, New York, and home to Kenya, for my annual trip. However, on 16 March 2020 we all began, what we didn’t know at the time, a year of isolation. For me it was difficult, as I am sure for so many others too, losing my grandmother and then three months later my grandfather and not being able to go home for either funeral or be with my parents during what was such a tough time. I really learned a lot about myself in this past year and as Spring 2021 marks a year of experiencing a global pandemic, I wanted to share some of these lessons and some positives I have taken from the situations as we look forward to the future with some hope and optimism that we will be able to be with our loved ones again soon as well as go out and do the things we have missed so much.

Top 'Must Have' Home Tech Products You Need!

Love it for a quick clean (all those biscuit crumbs from munching in-between zooms) to any other scenarios, especially if you are temporarily (fingers crossed) home schooling or you have a naughty hamster that likes to make a mess, like me, that chews up every cardboard box in sight leaving a trail of destruction! We are thinking of upgrading ours to one that includes a few more options such as an air fryer option, but honestly, when you are cooking things like curry/dal/rice/stews you can leave it to cook for a few hours and the food tastes incredible. Pressure Cooker and Air Fryer as it has so many great features such as Pressure Cook, Air Fry, Slow Cook, Grill, Steam, Sear/Sauté, Bake/Roast, Yoghurt & Dehydrate. KitchenAid Artisan K400 Bender (RRP £279) in NEW HONEY is available from kitchenaid.co.uk With our 11th Wedding Anniversary coming up and us both being wine lovers and collectors, this is on both of our wish-lists!

ZENB Veggie Sticks & Veggie Bites

This year I am really trying to champion more plant powered brands that are raising awareness about food waste and that embrace sustainability initiatives and I am so pleased to have recently discovered the ZENB range of delicious Veggie Bites and Veggie Sticks. These have been my go to as a tasty snack whilst taking some time out reading and having a cup of coffee on weekends, or in between busy working days when I want something quick but delightful and balanced to munch on whilst attending zoom after zoom! The ZENB range of snacks are plant-based, vegan, organic, gluten free, a great source of fibre, as well as having added benefits such as being free from artificial flavours or preservatives! The name ZENB is derived from the Japanese word “Zenbu” meaning “whole” and what I adore is that this is reflected in their range of Veggie Sticks, for which they use as much of the vegetable as possible, including the peel, skin, stem and seeds.
