Whitley and Jesse were such a fun, laid-back, and happy couple. Their families were long-time friends and Whitley and Jesse had known each other since childhood, so it was a great group of friends and relatives who all came together to celebrate their special day on what turned out to be one of the most beautiful Saturdays we had in October 2018! There had been tons of rain earlier in the week, but in its wake the storm left the most clear, cloudless, warm sunny day – we really got lucky! I loved the way Flora executed Whitley’s vision to create a unique and elegant design using white pumpkins which were both very autumn-appropriate, but still allowed us to use the pretty and sophisticated gray, white, eggplant, lavender and silvery green palette Whitley loved
As I told them over and over throughout the process, I wish that all of my clients could be as lovely as this couple. Courtney and her mother, Gloria, were some of the nicest, most appreciative people I have ever worked with, and I felt a little sad at the end of the day when it was time for our good-byes
Lindsey and Will decided that late fall at the Country Club of Grove Park Inn would be a perfect setting for their wedding. The fall leaves at their peak and the sky a perfect gray, the crisp air gave the guests a reason to snuggle under the plaid blankets Lindsay had shared for the ceremony. The fireplace was roaring outside and even in the crisp air of the evening, the guests enjoyed their cocktails and charcuterie under the café string lights on the patio. The inside of the country club glowed with tones of gold, grey, ivory and beautiful mossy greens, with taper candles abundant.
Morgan and Gerard were married on an idyllic spring day on The Front Lawn of the famed Biltmore Estate. With the mother of the bride officiating the ceremony, incorporating many personal and touching stories about the couple, there wasn’t a dry eye in the house. As the sun began to set over the mountains, guests were invited under a stunning custom lined tent lit with crystal chandeliers on the South Terrace. Exquisite champagne linens with varying textures adorned the head and guest tables, which were accompanied by an array of white florals and greenery.
