A Few Notes on Working with Chronic Illness & Creating a Future For Myself

Blogging Became My Only Opportunity to make money I’ve been blogging for many years and, though it started as a hobby, more recently I have worked hard to make a part-time income from it. Personally, I would struggle to conform to a traditional work schedule as it would inevitably result in me needing to take time off unpredictably (and sometimes that would be for considerable periods of time). I’ve therefore made the decision to work towards something I’ve admittedly wanted to do for years. At that time, I was the breadwinner of the family (as my husband was a student) and I couldn’t afford to go part-time at work.

Bullet Journal Inspiration: April 2019 Set Up

This month, I used the following bullet journal supplies: I opted for a double-page spread for my cover page. I titled the right-hand page with my Tombow Fudenosuke brush pen (hard) and surrounded the lettering with bright illustrations of daffodils. I listed the days/dates of the month across the middle of the page, leaving space on the left-hand side for me to write down the habits I want to track. I drew orange boxes to title the days of the week and drew a border around the page using the orange Crayola Supertip marker.

Life Update March 2019: Heading Back to Germany

What I’ve found is that I’ve been functioning better at this level I’m not going to go into what exact symptoms I’ve been experiencing in this post (and I kindly ask that you respect that and don’t ask me). While patience is usually my best ally– at 16 months post stem cell treatment— I’ve come to realise that I need additional help to get better.
