Baby Hanson on Board

We had actually booked a trip to visit our friend in Thailand a few days after Christmas and we were SO pumped! The timing now, couldn’t have been more perfect with family available to help and my work being in a good place. We had a gender reveal fiesta last weekend and the pinata revealed that baby Hanson, is in fact… We are so excited for the Baby Hanson journey and are praying for our sweet girl daily.

Big Happenings in Hampton Roads: Operation Smile

I had always heard of Operation Smile from their commercials and known a little about what they did, but I had no idea the depth of what they do to make it all possible. …it is an international medical charity that has provided hundreds of thousands of free surgeries for children and young adults in low- and middle-income countries who are born with cleft lip, cleft palate, or other dental and facial conditions since they began in 1982. I learned so much but what stuck with me most was it takes as little as $240 and as few as 45 minutes to provide life-changing surgery and a new smile to a child. If you’d like to financially help Operation Smile this holiday season or learn more about volunteering, click here.

Dinner at Thai Arroy in Virginia Beach

This weekend Ryan and I were invited to Thai Arroy for their new Jazz night that they’re hosting every Saturday in December! We actually used to live right around the corner from Thai Arroy and got it as take out all the time My brother in law got Green Curry, I tried Mussa-Pad Thai, and Ryan got Duck with Basil Sauce! I got the Mussa-Pad Thai because he told me it was a creamier version of regular Pad Thai with coconut milk!
