“You Are Amazing” Album Update!

so busy(in a good way) with various projects, namely recording the Children’s Album, and today I have a little update for you! I hired the illustrator Wallok to create the album cover, which I absolutely love: Now Matheus is mixing the album and getting it all ready to send out into the world, and I am working on the marketing/website building part, which I’m also enjoying a lot. I haven’t quite figured out the future of this blog yet, so please keep in touch on Facebook or Instagram! Soon I’ll be working on a new website, which may have a blog portion focused on music, self-love and self-confidence for children and other humans.

[PHOTOGRAPHY] THE 100 STRANGERS PROJECT: #12 Lucas & #13 Michelle

We discovered we had many things in common. We talked non stop until we arrived at the bus station and had to go our separate ways, which was a good half hour. I took this portrait of her yesterday, and although the idea for this project is to take a photo of a stranger at the time of meeting, I didn’t have my camera on me when we met. Thank you Michelle for being a part of my project; for being open to a conversation with a stranger.

[Living Abroad] Christmas On The Other Side Of The World

Though I truly love living abroad, I find one of the major challenges is being away from home/family during holiday times. Being in Thailand, I have felt especially removed from bustle of the Christmas season that I’ve known for so many years. I get out the Christmas stuff/music earlier than I would if I was in Canada…having it around and set up longer helps. I don’t feel like eating heavy food when it’s 40 degrees out or having the stove on for hours… Try and embrace some local traditions (going to the beach, eating salads and bbq seafood, playing cricket – or not….etc)
