April Homeschool Morning Basket

It’s that time! So, I’m running a little behind, but you know how much we love our homeschool morning basket around here! I’m excited to share our April homeschool morning basket with you. It’s a fun one, full of Easter goodies, plus some books that line up with our geography and science studies! Let’s jump into it! So, as always, we will start with our homeschool morning time binder

How To Homeschool Multiple Ages

I did receive two Teaching Textbooks subscriptions for my children and have been compensated for this post. However, all opinions are my own! When I first began homeschooling one of the things on my mind was how to homeschool multiple ages

Farmhouse Bathroom Decor Ideas

We are finally continuing on with our large family house tour! I finished our kids’ bathroom, which is also our guest bathroom, and I’m pretty happy with it for now. Today, I’m going to show you the farmhouse bathroom decor ideas I incorporated into the bathroom

Life Cycle of a Butterfly Printables and Activities

We just finished our butterfly lessons with The Good and the Beautiful Arthropods, and I have to admit it is one of my favorite lessons ever! The kids took a look at butterfly anatomy, learned how butterflies eat, learned about how many different species of butterfly has been identified around the world, and drew their own butterflies. The kids illustrated the life cycle of the butterfly, learned about the different stages of a chrysalis, and began to observe the transformation first hand with our Painted Lady caterpillars from Insect Lore. I’m using The Big Book of Bugs for our entire Arthropod unit, and I’m also using Christian Liberty’s Nature Readers Books 1 and 2 for individual lessons.
