This might be one of the most thoughtful gifts I have ever reveived. I have a bourbon collection and so do some close friends. One of my closest friends Kurt Elden messaged me telling me about this Scarlet Shade 14 yr Rye a while back. I really really wanted it because of all the symbolism behind it. It was aged 14 years has a cardinal on the label! Very similar to Hackamore’s #14 Lager which means a ton to me. I didn’t pull the trigger on the bottle because I was pinching pennies when opening the brewery and the bottle was a pretty penny. But out of no where yesterday Kurt surprised me and gifted this bottle to me. Honestly, my jaw hit the floor. Such a cool gift and it truly means a lot to me because Kurt knows exactly how significant the #14 and the cardinal means to me. Love you brother! 👊 ❤️ ⚾️
