If you liked playing in the dirt or making mud pies when you were little, you are going to love today’s project! I am using Violas for my spring Kodedama For my plant, I decided to use these sweet violas, or Johnny-Jump-Ups, as we call them here in Pennsylvania. Once you have all of your supplies, the first thing I do is loosen the soil around the plant, exposing the roots. You need to wet  your potting soil just enough that you can form a ball around the roots of your plant.

Make sure to give your tulips a fresh, angled cut before adding them to the vase so they get a good drink of water! Now, the tulips were pretty when the buds were closed, but when they open they droop and stretch towards the sun — Gorgeous! ! ! So, if you want to use this spring tulips and eggs arrangement for your Easter table, I would put it together on Thursday or Friday!

We’ve had hand-me-downs and DIY’s, but not a complete bed that was brand new! If you’ve never purchased anything from Wayfair, I will say that I’ve had good experience with the items I’ve ordered. The other update I did for spring was to switch out my darker gray lampshades for these white drum shades. I decided to hang a spring painting over the bed instead of the signs that I’ve used in that space for years.
