While I still haven’t figured out why my eyes are still irritated, I can tell you that @thelashloungescottsdalequarter was very accommodating and helpful in removing my lashes. . I think it’s a combo of the crazy weather, Insulation install, glue for my eyelashes, and general allergies this time of year for me, Pam and her staff took the best care in helping remove my eyelash extensions. . When this irritation finally settles down, I’m going to move forward with sensitive glue and a hybrid set. . I can’t recommend @thelashloungescottsdalequarter enough whether it’s your first set of lashes or getting them removed. They are fantastic! And Lindsey is my fave gal because she’s fast and efficient! . Do allergies affect you in the fall too?
We came, we saw, we cheersed our @mamascoldbrew , we actually made it through the entire @junkinthetrunkvintagemarket before they closed 🙌🏻 . This was the first year that I’ve got to shop for a purpose and saw so many great things, but didn’t buy much. I made some great connections with local vendors so that when we get much closer to being done with @thejohnsoncasa I can actually shop! Lately, the easiest way for me to see a color on our house is to pick it from my closet and wear it ‘on’ the house. . I can safely resume my girl mom life now that Leila’s back home. . And its also safe to say that Finlee is resuming her shade throwing at her sister by telling me every time Leila was on her iPad instead of playing with her 🙄 . Alas, we wouldn’t have it any other way 😂 Happy Friday eve!
My big girl is flying home today with her Nana making a return flight back to Indiana right after. I, like so many others, always reflect back on today but also try to explain what happened through my eyes to these two. . I want them to not be afraid of the world or her people, but always be aware that things happen to good people. And that there are heroes who give it all sometimes to fight for those left behind. . I know they will never understand or feel firsthand the true impact and togetherness that was a result of 9/11/01 but my hope is they will appreciate it so much more. . . We all were connected that day and even to today, let’s remember that today and everyday.
