MBCC selected as beneficiary for Moving Violations Benefit Ride on 5/18

MBCC selected as beneficiary for Moving Violations Benefit Ride on 5/18 Massachusetts Breast Cancer Coalition (MBCC) is honored to have been selected as the beneficiary of the 34th annual Moving Violations Motorcycle Club Benefit Ride. Club members will be riding from Dedham to Hull on Saturday, May 18th to raise money in support of MBCC’s mission of cancer prevention. The Moving Violations Motorcycle Club, Inc., the oldest women’s motorcycle club in New England, was founded in June of 1985 by a small group of women who enjoyed riding together and sharing information about motorcycling. From this experience evolved the Club’s basic philosophy: to enjoy safe, non-competitive riding with other women motorcyclists.

Massachusetts Breast Cancer Coalition

On Saturday, March 30, 2019, Massachusetts Breast Cancer Coalition (MBCC) invites runners, walkers, and families to register for the inaugural, Run for Prevention. The event will take place at Bare Cove Park in Hingham, MA, located along the banks of the Weymouth Back River and features USATF certified 5- or 10-mile run, 2-mile fitness walk, and 1-mile kids fun run. In Massachusetts, breast cancer incidence rates are 12% higher than the national average, which estimates that 1 in 8 U. S. women will develop breast cancer in her lifetime. Thanks to the sustained vision and generosity of our supporters, Massachusetts Breast Cancer Coalition is able to continue to work towards our mission of prevention by advancing our understanding and awareness of the environmental factors linked to breast cancer,” says Cheryl Osimo, Executive Director.
