After working with King Living and revamping our living room with a beautiful new lounge, which completely changed the vibe of the space for the better, I was so excited to work with them again on our master bedroom with a new King bed. Because we love our couch fabric so much and we’re trying to keep a consistent warm neutral aesthic, we decided to go with the same fabric for our bed head and base. The style of the bed is Promenade which was decided on because I love a bed head, but I didn’t want it to be the feature of the room, and the fabric base is so softening to the space, but to be honest the real highlight is the under bed storage! We hosted our party in peak holiday season when there was a lot going on, so we made sure to send a save the date a month or so in advance to lock everyone in. You don’t need to know all the details at this stage, just the date and approx time of day so everyone can keep it aside. We kept it relaxed with a dress code of: Summer Garden Party (think fresh whites and neutrals) Summer wine is definitely all about the crisp whites, so make sure you have an esky full of ice close by and that the wine is chilled to perfection!

With what feels like a nostalgic throw back to one of my favourite types of posts I enjoyed editing,  here is a look i’m currently coveting, in the form of an outfit collage. I don’t know if i’ve met a black wrap top I didn’t like, especially with a V neckline and balloon sleeves like this one from Merlette. I also can no longer imagine a future of wearing heels and enjoying them, so i’ve embraced flats and seriously believe you can never have enough effortless simple sandals.
