Today is a HUGE day! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ I am so beyond proud of my little lady. She has endured so many trials and tribulations in her first "official" year of school, and she handled it like a lady should, with grace and poise! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ The year started off with uncertainty because of Covid, she handled it like a champ. She witnessed her Grandfather recover from a stroke and was a cheerleader and has played a huge part in his recovery, she has also endured having to relocate, and change schools at the very end of the year. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ She was so scared to leave her old school (which we loved), but she went into her new school and her teacher said that she handled her first day like a rockstar and that she had no idea that Tamsin was scared about coming into a new school because she handled it so well! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ I am so incredibly proud of my young lady! She is such an inspiration already, at such a young and tender age! You deserve all the praise today baby, you are officially a Kindergarten graduate 👩🏼🎓 as of today! You rocked your Kindergarten year! • • • • • #kindergartengraduation #kindergarten #graduation #graduation2021 #classof2033 #proudmom #congratulations #momlife #family #kindergartenteacher #graduationpictures #kindergartengraduate #kindergartener #kindergrad #firstgradebound #kindergartengrad #schoolsoutforsummer #familymoments #familygoals #familylife #familyiseverything #magicofchildhood #momsofinstagram #1stgrade #nikonphotography #momentsofmine #childhoodmemories #growinguptoofast
Tamsin’s routine at school is vital for her success, she needs that constant structure and learning environment of her peers to help her stay on track. I love that I now have tools like the Osmo system to help me tackle my newfound role as teacher. However, I’ve broken down my barriers with that mentality and come to terms that I am not a teacher and that I don’t have the necessary skill set to always educate my child in the best way possible. She can easily chose which type of game she’d like to play, which also indicates to her which of her pieces she’ll need when playing the game.
You know what I forgot to celebrate in all of this craziness that is my life? It was 11 years ago last month that my cousin, @its.momo.91 randomly brought home a newborn dog for me to love and keep. Syssa, you chose a really good dog for me and I am forever grateful that you saw him and just "knew" that he was meant for me.

With our new home in mind, I've been much more conscious of what will work for my space, and I'm planning with extra care, although I'll admit that this piece didn't work for where I had initially planned it to be, and that's completely okay, it just meant that I had to be more creative and find a space for it. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ I want this house to look beautiful, and designed well. One brand that NEVER disappoints is @mapiful and is a brand that I've come to depend on. This is the 3rd print that I've ordered from them and for the third time in a row, I'm completely blown away with how beautiful it is. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ The new Mapiful Line Art prints let you personalize a series of curated line art illustrations that give a minimalist look to any home! Pick an illustration that speaks to you and personalize the text, colors, and size to match your lovely home. Soul is the latest release from Pixar, and the feel-good story is getting rave reviews from critics and families alike. You’ll laugh, you’ll probably cry, but more than that you and your family will probably leave the film filled with newfound inspiration. n’t want that sentiment instilled in their children, and me, I feel like I have a personal connection with Soul 22 because I have a deep love for Pizza as well. I’ve rounded up some of mine and Tamsin’s favorite merchandise that we’ve found across the internet, with links to more at the bottom.
If you have carpet in your home and are looking to care for an elderly parent that is confined to a wheelchair for any length of time, I’d recommend getting your carpets removed to a smoother surface that will allow the wheelchair to move freely, without any restrictions. Now that he is getting a little bit more mobile and regaining some use of his leg, his Physical Therapist recommended that we get a Hemi Walker, which is best for stroke patients (or anyone that is only able to use one side of their body. As you’ll see in the picture below, this type of walker resembles a step ladder, the extra set of legs provides a more safe and sturdy balance for a stroke patient that is learning to walk again, and allows them to use this on their good side while they continue to build muscle and regain the use of their legs. Now that we’ve covered the basics tools needed to get around the house, and for just regular use let’s talk about tools needed for the bathroom.
I've been extremely 𝙼.𝙸.𝙰. for a couple of months and I don’t really have a reason other than needing a break, amongst all the chaos that was my life for the past 5 months. I needed a break from social media, my phone, the world. A lot happened all at once and the panic attack was on pace to go down at any moment, so...⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ꧁ 𝑰 𝒄𝒉𝒆𝒄𝒌𝒆𝒅 𝒐𝒖𝒕, 𝒔𝒐 𝑰 𝒄𝒐𝒖𝒍𝒅 𝒄𝒉𝒆𝒄𝒌 𝒊𝒏 ꧂ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ But now that things have slowed back down, and life is resuming back to normal, I am ready to come back I got quality time to recoup with my husband and daughter, and time to make these new four walls feel like home. I'm coming back refreshed, re-focused, ready to take it all on. It’s a new day, a new week, and yet endless possibilities! The adventure of the unknown! Oh, and by the way... How do you like the name change? Notice it? I felt a need for rebranding...
