When it comes to cruising – Carnival Cruise Line has offered their own private craft beers on tap aboard the Carnival Horizon and Carnival Vista at the Red Frog Pub and Brewery and recently they’ve expanded their offerings bringing their beers to every ship in the fleet – in cans and kegs! During our recent sailing on the Carnival Magic, I had the opportunity to try out the canned (and draft) beers that I remember so well from the Carnival Vista and Carnival Horizon and the tastes are still the great flavors I remember. The Carnival beers you can now find across the entire fleet are – · ThirstyFrog Caribbean Wheat – an unfiltered wheat beer with flavors of orange and spices. · ParchedPig West Coast IPA – the embodiment of a traditional West Coast India Pale Ale, this hoppy, intense beer is loaded with bitterness with a bright flavor profile and distinctive aroma of citrus and pine. I’ve had the opportunity to try each of the beers and my personal favorite is the ThirstyFrog Caribbean Wheat beer.
From setting up a credit card on file to choosing what time you’d like to have dinner in the dining room (Early, late or anytime dining), choosing what time you plan to arrive at the terminal on the day of your sailing — there are plenty of options and the more you complete in advanced – If you miss signing up online, just stop by Camp Ocean on embarkation day or on the first full day and the team there will be happy to get you all set up. If you’re into dining at any of Carnival’s signature dining restaurants — you can also request dining dates and times in advanced. * My family and I are sailing as invited guests on the Carnival Magic as guests of Carnival Cruise Line.
What to Expect on the Carnival Radiance Alongside favorites like Guy’s Burger Joint, the poolside RedFrog Rum Bar and BlueIguana Tequila Bar, BlueIguana Cantina offering authentic Mexican tacos and burritos, an expanded Cherry on Top sweets shop, and the popular Alchemy Bar, the ship will receive some additional dining options too. New spaces on the Carnival Radiance will include the Cucina del Capitano, Fahrenheit 555 Steakhouse, Bonsai Sushi, The Chef’s Table, along with Guy’s Pig & Anchor Bar-B-Que Smokehouse. The ship’s staterooms will also undergo renovation adding a new tropical color palette and new accommodation choices, along with the addition of Captain’s Suites with floor to ceiling windows. And today, LEGOLAND Florida has released details about three marquee attractions that will be part of this new area inspired by the characters and themes of the worldwide blockbuster THE LEGO MOVIE and THE LEGO MOVIE 2: This flying theatre attraction whisks guests away on an action-packed adventure on a suspended ride with a full-dome virtual screen, giving the sensational feeling of flying alongside some familiar and some new faces like Sweet Mayhem, a character set to debut in the upcoming feature THE LEGO MOVIE 2: The Second Part. Adults can relax in a room inspired by Emmet’s bedroom, while kids dream of spaceship adventures in the children’s room, modeled after Benny’s Spaceship.
