Sky in the Deep: Blog Tour + Q&A

I’m so excited to be participating in the SKY IN THE DEEP blog tour hosted by Wednesday Books running until May 1! Driven by a love for her clan and her growing love for Fiske, Eelyn must confront her own definition of loyalty and find a way to forgive her brother while daring to put her faith in the people she’s spent her life hating. What was your writing process like for SKY IN THE DEEP? I don’t watch TV or movies or listen to music that’s not on my playlist, and I kind of don’t have a social life until it’s done.

GIVEAWAY: To Kill a Kingdom

To punish her daughter, the Sea Queen transforms Lira into the one thing they loathe most—a human. Robbed of her song, Lira has until the winter solstice to deliver Prince Elian’s heart to the Sea Queen or remain a human forever. The ocean is the only place Prince Elian calls home, even though he is heir to the most powerful kingdom in the world. Enter the giveaway below to receive a physical copy of To Kill a Kingdom (US and Canada only).

Review: Legendary by Stephanie Garber

The only chance of uncovering Legend’s identity is to win Caraval, so Tella throws herself into the legendary competition once more—and into the path of the murderous heir to the throne, a doomed love story, and a web of secrets…including her sister’s. If Tella can’t fulfill her bargain and deliver Legend’s name, she’ll lose everything she cares about—maybe even her life. There’s much more to her history and past that you don’t get from Scarlett’s POV, and oh my heart broke for her over and over. Though we’re in Tella’s POV, not even Scarlett’s story is finished.

Review: Brightly Burning by Alexa Donne

But I didn’t expect to be PUNCHED IN THE FACE MULTIPLE TIMES In fact, I was a bit worried I wouldn’t love a retelling because I’m a bit tired of the ‘tortured boy’ trope because often times, they are boring and mean. Stella, Hugo’s vivid and vivacious sister was probably my favorite, but be prepared to love everyone! OH OH OH and Stella has some precious friends from back ‘home’ – and I totally fell in love with Jon.
