Hereâs the truth âŹď¸ â¨Sorry but depriving is NOT the answer around here. I wouldâve been freaking MISERABLE when paying off $154k of debt if I cut everything and ONLY focused on debt payoff. I wouldâve missed out on family beach trips. Girls trips to Nashville. Date nights. Wouldnât have reached $100k invested before 29. Would not be in our forever home (a 25 acre farm). Listen, paying off debt IS important. Totally. Not only does debt cause a lot of stress and overwhelm but it freaking SUCKS to owe someone money (especially huge corporations like credit card companies who screw you over with insane interest rates). But it is NOT the only important thing. If it takes you a little bit longer to pay off debt while you are saving, investing, and spendingâŚI promise you will be MUCH happier and more prepared for unexpected expenses. â¨Especially if you have A LOT of debt like I did. It is time for a refresh. A fresh start. Whether youâve been budgeting for years or you have never created one in your life. Life changes. Expenses have increased. Personal priorities have shifted. We ALL need to set aside time to refresh our finances to make sure our goals and plan are realistic and align with what we actually want right NOW. â¨I teach you exactly HOW in my financial refresh workshop on 4/30. âĄď¸Comment âREFRESHâ and I will send you the link to grab your spot now! Give me 1 hour. Thatâs it. And youâll walk away with 10+ action steps you can take RIGHT NOW. Dive in. Take Action. Move on. And for reference I would NEVER tell you to give you your prickly pear margaritas on date night ;) April 30th. Live workshop (replay too of course) PLUS a fillable workbook AND Q&A. Donât miss this.
Comment âREFRESHâ and Iâll send you the link to join my financial refresh workshop. Listen, I get it. You donât need fancy spreadsheets and you donât have 20+ hours to get sh*t done. Give me 1 hour. Thatâs it. And youâll walk away with simple action steps you can take RIGHT NOW to put more money back in your pocket and towards debt, savings, or even your summer trip. Dive in. Take Action. How do you even decide?!? Summer is coming up.  You want to spend more time outside, days at the park, nights at concerts, and less time on your phone. You barely have enough time to actually finish your to list (or you just keep moving things week to week) I GET you donât have time to waste trying 20+ âtop money tipsâ that require hours of undivided attention to actually implement and years before you actually see results. âŚ.so what am I supposed to do?! Listen, you shouldnât be spending your paycheck before it hits your account. âBut Alli⌠I have to get groceries this week my dog has a vet appointment my friends are grabbing drinks Friday I have $10 in my account Listen, I am NOT shaming you. 95% of the people who work with me are like this before we start. So if this is YOU right now. Iâve got you. Hereâs what youâre going to do: 1ď¸âŁ A money audit. You NEED to know where every dollar is CURRENTLY going aka youâre going to track your expenses for a month (choose a normal spending month) 2ď¸âŁ Budget per paycheck. If youâre like um how? Join Flourish FinanciALLI and youâll get my super simple and effective budget template, training videos, worksheets and 8 other core modules. COMMENT (or DM me) âFLOURISHâ and I will send you the details so you can get started TODAY. 3ď¸âŁ Move around expenses if needed. Your budget should be FLEXIBLE. If you map out paycheck 1 and you have negative dollars...we have to change something. Maybe we split up your rent/mortgage, move debt payments, change due dates for bills, etc. Here is an example: If you get paid 3/1 and 3/15âŚYour first âbudgetâ would be 3/1-3/14 (aka your 3/1 paycheck has to cover ALL expenses that fall during that time frame). The GOAL is to break the credit card or overdraft cycle. Where you put groceries on your credit card but you donât have enough money in your account to actually pay for them so you have to wait to get paid again and then you pay your credit card but now you donât have money in your account for groceries this week âŚ.you get it. BUT weâre going to BREAK THE CYCLE. Not sure what coaching option is best for you? Comment âFORMâ and youâll get a short form to fill out so I can send you a personalized video with what option or course I think is best for you based on your goals, struggles, and situationâŚIâve got you!
This is a GAME CHANGER This is SO simple but so effective (my Flourish FinanciALLI students LOVE it!) Save this video for when you get extra money so you know exactly what to do with it and make sure youâre following @financiallifocused for money tips Do you have a plan for extra money?âŹď¸ #moneytips #budgetingtips #moneygoals
Monthly budgets donât work. Yeah, I said it. Before you come at me saying it works for you because X Y ZâŚlet me ask you something 1ď¸âŁAre you scrambling at the end of the month to figure out where things went wrong? 2ď¸âŁAre you setting debt and savings goals but youâre not seeing the progress you thought you would? 3ď¸âŁDo you still feel like the first half of the month is really tight and youâre barely making it to the second half? 4ď¸âŁDo you feel prepared for upcoming or unexpected expenses? If your answers are something like: yes, yes, yes, no Then youâre proving my point đ Okay even if you answered 2/4 like I thought you still should try something else âĄď¸You need to be budgeting per paycheck. Good news, I show you EXACTLY how to do this in my program Flourish FinanciALLI. Comment âFLOURISHâ and Iâll send you the details! But not just show you my proven strategies and template but do it WITH you. 3 months. You, me, and a small group of people also trying to reach their money goals. Weâll make sure your budget is realistic for your current season of life AND that you know exactly how to adjust it for when things come up (because they will) My goal is to set you up for LIFE not just for a few months. You CAN pay off debt, save, AND spend and budgeting actually gets to be fun (I promise đ) Comment âFLOURISHâ so you can get started right away (yes immediate access to the modules đ) đĽAnd if you join right now, youâll get 3 months of personalized budget reviews by me aka you email me your budget and I send you video feedback (a game changer đŻ) Reagan said, âI finally feel like we have a solid plan đđ˝ plus now checking in with our budget isnât stressful! Itâs actually maybe even fun?!â #moneytips #budgetingtips #moneytipsforwomen

LEARN FROM MY MISTAKES â¤ľď¸ Repeat after me, focus on ONE debt at a timeđ¸ Your debt free date does NOT matter. I know you want your debt gone (I was super impatient too) BUT with a strategic and realistic plan, it will get paid off. Now how the heck can you learn to pay off debt fast without guilt and cutting everything you love? Can you relate?! PLEASEE let me know in the comments Iâm not alone?! It is hard to resist that dollar spot (that isnât actually a dollar), the clothes, and all the good snacks. The good news is, you can save for a house, pay off a credit card, AND still go to Target. We just want to reduce the random impulse purchases ;) Ready to focus on value-based spending instead of cutting everything? Want to pay off debt, save, AND spend? Comment âWORKSHOPâ and Iâll send you the details to my managing money goals workshop PS: Sam was able to pay off $6,000, pay for home renovations in cash, AND book a long weekend getaway with her husband. So YES you can do this . Whatâs your impulse buy at target?!âŹď¸
I meanâŚ. Student loan debt The wage gap Living through the 2008 crisis High inflation rates Oh and the pandemic Listen im not one to make excuses but us millennials have been through A LOT. Hereâs the truthâŚâŁ Your latte isnât the reason you canât afford a house. How do I know? 2 years ago we bought our forever home AND I still got a Starbucks latte a few times a week (sometimes more than a few times they literally knew my name đđ˝)  ⣠If I didnât figure out a way to pay off debt, save, invest, AND spendâŚmy life would look a lot different.⣠There is NO way we wouldâve been able to buy a 25 acre farm if we waited to save for a house until we paid off $154k of debt. You CAN pay off debt, save, and spend at the same timeâŚI can show you how. And I teach you exactly HOW in my managing multiple money goals workshop. âĄď¸Comment âWORKSHOPâ to get all the strategies, tips, and even some templates I used to pay off $154k of debt while saving and spending (oh and investing). For a limited time you can get it for 50% off! Listen, if you want to rent forever. Good for you! You donât NEED to buy a house but I bet there are other things you want to save for  ⣠I have figured out how to create a realistic budget you can actually stick to LONG TERM without the deprivation and binge cycle. That you can adjust when things come up and you donât just throw in the towel.⣠ ⣠I know how to help you map out your goals and adjust based on different scenarios. Plan for âunexpected expensesâ and feel prepared.⣠ ⣠If I didnât forge my own path, do my own research, develop my own method and strategiesâŚI wouldnât be where I am today.⣠ ⣠That is a fact.⣠ ⣠Speaking of $7 lattes, whatâs your guilty pleasure or an expense you canât go without?âŹď¸ PS: thank you @cakemoneyconsulting for the suit idea and Joe for the suit jacket đ #moneytips #budgetingtips #moneygoals

not sure how much money youâre going to be bringing in month-to-month and figuring out your spending and money goals overwhelms you. Once you have established what you need to save for your one month initial emergency fund, create a budget using an average baseline of income. Thatâs why, in addition to a minimum one month emergency fund, you need to get one month ahead on expenses. Once you have your minimum one month emergency fund set up and youâre working off of a baseline budget, use the leftover money from your budget, or any excess money that exceeded your baseline budget, and use that money as a buffer in your checking account.
Figure out what went wrong The first and most important step to getting back on track if you go over budget is figuring out what exactly went wrong. If you havenât done so already, track a month of expenses to get your actual numbers â not just your ideal budget numbers. It means that when you sit down at the end of the month to create the budget for the next month, it doesnât mean that what you write is set in stone. For example: If you overspent in your grocery budget by $200 and you have a âPersonal Careâ budget that has $200 in it, move that $200 to the grocery fund so that you are no long âover budgetâ in that area.
