Hi, I'm Liz! I'm here to help those who want to make travel more of a lifestyle than just a treat. To show that travel can be more attainable than a two week beach vacation once a year and that trips (and their budgets) should be based around what you value, allocating a little more spending to the aspects that get you excited and a little less to those that don't. I hope you'll join me!
Catch me in DC the first weekend in February, friends! So excited to take the stage with a few other @sheswanderful women to talk all things solo travel! Grab a ticket discount with the code WANDERFUL23. #dctravelshow (I’ll also be speaking by at the Travel & Adventure Shows in Denver & Atlanta in the near future.)

Hustling is how we make it happen! Life is expensive, but I’m not afraid of hard work with a big reward! Here are some of the side hustles I do in addition to my day job: 👔 Organizing 🧽 Cleaning 📦 Packing & Unpacking 🛍️ Mystery Shopping 🐇 Pet Sitting ⌨️ Personal Assistant I’ve even been hired before to just keep comeone company! There are other ways to make travel attainable as well, such as travel credit card hacking, looking for free accommodation, etc. You’ll get further by implementing as much as you can. At the end of the day, I’d rather work over 40 hours a week to be able to spend my time off exploring away from home. 😊 Video Text: The hustle isn’t always fun…but the payoff sure is! Video description: clips of me putting on a headset at a desk, organizing a closet, dusting a windowsill, folding a towel, and on a yacht.
Plus so, so much more! Follow me to learn more! Visual description: a blue moving sculpture. My only complaint is that it was too cold to use the pool during this sit! But anyways, whether you need accommodation while traveling or just a local break from the ordinary, petsitting can get you options! I pet sit with Rover and through Trusted House Sitters. 🐕 ROVER: This platform pays you to pet sit &/or perform other pet care & is also a great way earn some extra money. 🐈 Trusted House Sitters is an exchange platform where you exchange free pet sitting for free accommodation. I’ve done both! It’s always nice to get paid to pet sit, when when you’re traveling, nothing adds up quicker than free accommodation! Referral Links: Rover: http://sit.rover.com/6mTJTG Trusted House Sitters: https://www.trustedhousesitters.com/refer/RAF488831/?utm_source=copy-link&utm_medium=refer-a-friend&utm_campaign=refer-a-friend My Trusted House Sitter referral code will get you $25% off your annual membership. I used a referral code to sign up & was so hateful for it! Visual Description: A gorgeous backyard pool & pavilion & clips of dogs outside. Video text: How did I stay in this gorgeous house for free? By petsitting! I use Rover & Trusted House Sitters. Go explore the world! Follow for travel tips & tricks!

Where to get a taste of the Carolinas in the big city of Charlotte? One of my top recommendations is Haberdish. With ingredients sourced from local farms & a rotating specials menu, the food is excellent, but there’s even more local than the dishes. The whole interior was sourced locally. “Our soap stone bar top came from a quarry in Virginia. We have salvage denim on our interior seating that was produced in Cone Mills, North Carolina. Our table tops were hand crafted right here in Charlotte, and the wood came from the rafters of our building. The bar taps are reused spindles from a former mill, and our copper lights are hand-spun and designed and assembled right here in Charlotte.” I don’t know about you, but that kind of gives me the feel goods. ☺️ Pictured menu items: - Cornbread & butter - Hushpuppies & butter - Macaroni & cheese - Chicken tenders - Cauliflower Here’s what else to know: 🍸Their drink menu is extensive & they’ve got some creative cocktails 🌽 You get complimentary cornbread for making a reservation 🍗 Chicken tenders come by the piece - order as little or as much as you have room for 🥦 Sides are family style, so order to share 🍽️ The jar water glasses & mismatched dishes will win over your heart Yes, North Carolina is also known for Bojangles, but consider skipping it for a unique southern restaurant local to Charlotte!
