Highlights
A Weekend in AZ

I flew out of Detroit early Friday morning and landed around noon in AZ; I was greeted by sunshine, my best friend Jenna, and her pretty little rescue pup, Rinna. so we can talk about how amazing they are 🙂 After lunch, we headed a little north to do some sight seeing at a local hiking/trail spot called the Gateway Loop Trail. The weekend went by so fast and as much as I didn’t want to leave my best friend or the beautiful Arizona weather, I couldn’t wait to get home to my babies. It was so nice to spend such quality time with my friend from sixth grade and get a little break from #momlife.

Target Tuesday

If you’ve been following me on Instagram for a while (@sincerelysarabrooke), you know I’ve been doing “Target Tuesday” for a little over a year now. I was inspired by another blogger on IG to basically go shopping at Target every Tuesday and share all of the new releases, good finds, sales, etc. with you in my Instagram story! I’ve been getting a lot of requests for Spring clothes and shoes, so I made sure to link some new finds for both. Normally I post a question box at the end of my Target Tuesday on Instagram, but since we switched it up today, I’d love if you commented below on what you’d like see next Tuesday!

Lola is Four!

We were able to celebrate her birthday “normally” last year, but with the current restrictions, and the fact that Lola’s birthday is in January, in a state where winters are brutal, I knew making her day special might be a challenge. I was able to reserve an outdoor igloo (that’s heated) at a local orchard/cider mill (shout out to Blake’s!), which was super cute, especially when we added our own Happy Birthday balloons. I say “ice rink” because while it is outdoors and looks real, it’s synthetic ice, similar to a roller hockey rink. Lola has a pair of hockey skates (thanks to her Uncle Adam) but has only been on the ice once, so Jeff brought the walker on the rink for her just in case.

Christmas 2020 Gift Guide

I try my best to take mental note of things they say they want/need way before Christmas but sometimes directly asking whomever you’re buying for is best For Her: Since we’re all staying comfy cozy at home this year, a chunky knit blanket is such a great gift idea for snuggling on the couch or by a fire. From Mapiful, I got a classic Mapiful of Maui (where Jeff and I got engaged), and a Text Art Mapiful which is a picture of Jeff and I in Maui with what Jeff said to me when he proposed-both are hanging above our bed. For Teachers: I started shopping for Lola’s preschool teachers and wanted to make sure I was getting things that they would actually use and or want, so I ran my idea by one of my friends and she gave me some insight into the do’s and don’ts of teacher gifts!
