Books I Took With Me To College

In the past couple of weeks some of the hardest choices I’ve made have been the books that I’ll be taking with me to college. I’ve been meaning to read the Lord of the Rings series forever and since this is part of the limited number of books I brought, I’m betting that’ll force me to finally get back in and finish the series. I love this series, and always re-read the first book whenever I’m feeling down because it just makes me feel so good. These these three books didn’t take up much space and also as an English major I’m assuming Ill need to read them at some point for class

Blog Redesign + A Little Update

I’ve been kept more than a little busy since I’ve been working full time this summer as I save up and boy, who know a 40 hour a week job could be so exhausting. As I’m sure you’ve noticed by now this blog is looking quite different. As I enter my freshman year of college, I’m basically getting a new start and thought I could do the same with this bit of space I’ve carved out for myself. I’m moving about 2500 miles away for college (I’m actually flying out this weekend! ! ) and don’t know a single soul, so this blog is a tiny piece of home

The Guilty Reader Tag

Have you ever said you’ve read a book when you haven’t? Have you ever told someone you don’t own a book when you do? Have you ever told someone you haven’t read a book when you have? I did read the Fifty Shades series a few years back because I was so curious about what all the fuss was about, and although I haven’t told people that I haven’t read I don’t voluntarily proclaim that I have.

Tempest and Slaughter Review

And as Ozorne gets closer to the throne and Varice gets closer to Arram’s heart, Arram begins to realize that one day soon he will have to decide where his loyalties truly lie. I’m a huge fan of Tamora Pierce since I read her Trickster series and as such had really high hopes for this book. This first half of the book just follows Arram through his day to day life I’m not really sure how I feel about Ozorne, he is a great friend to Arram and Varice
