Our Spin on the Baked Feta Pasta Recipe

Tiger King, sourdough bread, TikTok dances and baked feta pasta. Homemade pizza, Thanksgiving dinner roast, mac n' cheese, banana bread ... just a few of the things that we have successfully cooked on the grill. And now, we can officially say we've 'been there, tried that' with the baked feta pasta recipe that went viral on social media. Add feta cheese to the centre of the dish.

Raising Strong Women

However, the girls desperately wanted to know whether it was going to be a little sister or a little brother. As we celebrated International Women's Day on this past Monday, March 8, I thought it was only fitting that the girls announce that they're going to have another little sister. Using my Cricut Joy and Easy Press 2 (along with some Infusible Ink Transfer Sheets in a pink and purple tye dye pattern, selected by my oldest), I made these tank tops that say "Big Sister" and "Middle Sister" and baby bodysuit that says "Little Sister". For step-by-step instructions on how to create your own personalized shirts for whatever the occasion may be (or, just for fun), check out this post where we turned my oldest daughter's drawings into personalized family t-shirts.

How to Make Your Own Beaded Chandelier

(You could attached the beaded line directly to the bottom of the base, but that will case some issues if you need to adjust the beads due to spacing once they are all strung.) The hardest part of this DIY was securing the light the existing flushmount base (from now on referred to as light base). So attempt three was to hot glue the entire base to the light base. I then took some fishing line (because it is clear, but you could use similar coloured yarn if you wish) and wrapped it around the rim of the basket and the flush mount base (see photo).

The Wonders of Wall Art: A Peek Inside Our Home

While important to the character of our homes, s ad to say, it's usually the last thing to check off our home decor lists, long after the final coat of paint has dried on the walls and all of the furniture has been perfectly arranged. While this piece was purchased at a well-know Canadian home retailer, I did also find it available for purchase on Fine Art America. While we may gravitate towards places and spaces that speak to us (and follow our favourite blue and green colour palette), my daughters, on the other hand, gravitate towards one thing... pink. So, while it may have taken us over a year to start hanging art on our walls, we're pretty happy with how adding those little extra touches has turn this house into OUR home.
