My Little Post of Gratitude

Iā€™ve just needed time away from my blog just so I can regroup and create content that Iā€™m actually proud of sharing. But, Iā€™ve also needed this time to be able to concentrate on myself. I knew I needed to give my body some time to heal and some quality time to itself, away from everything, and to figure out what I actually want to out my time and effort into. I overthink a lot, and so to help me combat that Iā€™ve been putting on music to help release any negative vibes from whatever situation I was in, whether it was putting on a playlist with all my favourite songs on or putting on an 80s Hits playlist to just be able to dance in my room to.

A Look Back on 2018

As 2019 is underway, I thought Iā€™d take a little trip back through the last year and reminisce on all of my favouriteĀ moments. I realised how much family means to me and that I had become a bit too enthralled in a materialistic world since starting my blog but with 2019 being a fresh start Iā€™ve decided to step out of my comfort zone and spend more time enjoying what I love to do. Iā€™d never put it into perspective that Iā€™d have only just finished uni but since itā€™s all happened Iā€™ve decided to justĀ take my time and see what life has in store for me. Iā€™m still trying to get my head around the fact that itā€™s now 2019, but Iā€™m looking forward to what this year will bring but also to enjoy all of the things I have planned for it already.

The Best Christmas Ever

One of the most memorable moments was a sleigh ride, where you hopped into a sleigh full of warm and cosy blankets and pillows which was then pulled by two reindeers, which are some of the most beautiful creatures Iā€™ve ever seen, and without a guide, theyā€™d pulled us through this magical frozen forest. Christmas day itself was so nice too because we got to spend the morning with family and friends and then went down for a Christmas dinner. The idea of a white Christmas was always so lovely but never actually possible as we live in Wales, and so to be able to actually live it was a dream come true. It was after experiencing all of this that I fell in love not just Christmas, but with everything else that surrounds it, and thatā€™s why this particular Christmas was the Best Christmas Ever.

Cracking Christmas Tag

We like to get drunk on Christmas Eve and then wake up at like 8:30 Christmas Day. Another thing we do on ChristmasĀ Eve is get gifted a fresh set of pyjamas and bedding to put on so we have a lovelyĀ fresh sleep the night before Christmas! I honestly donā€™t think thereā€™s a Christmas song that I donā€™t like. The only thing I would say about my taste in Christmas music is that I donā€™t really listen to all of the newer Christmas albums from artists like Justin Bieber and Ariana Grande.
