I make pictures. Usually, big, bold, colorful pictures. I live in New Orleans. I make pictures of all things New Orleans. Mardi Gras. Second Lines. Jazz Funerals. Music. The French Quarter. Mardi Gras Indians. Baby Dolls. Food.
I travel a fair bit. At one time, I called Hong Kong my home. I've traveled extensively in Asia. And Europe. In a few weeks I will complete my set of all 50 states.
I've been at this for a long while. I've been a staffer at newspapers and wire services. I've been a designer for various print products. News pages. Feature pages. Magazines. Books. You know. Old school stuff.
I manage big commercial presses. I can make color sit up and sing.
As a photographer, my client list is deep and broad. These days I mostly photograph for advertising and corporate clients. For a while, I had a run of booze ads. Then, beer ads.
I'm good at selling ideas and approaches. I'm good at producing content. After all, if content is king then ideas sit on the throne. I understand distribution systems. After all, the best content in the world is meaningless if it isn't seen.
How can I partner with you?
If I’m out and about running errands, I’ll go out of my way if I think I can see a train. This is a long bridge that makes trains look like they are floating in the air is called The Huey P. I made a few pictures of spring flowers and thought that would be a good way to end the business week. This time the fight comes from photographers who don’t know him but think what happened to him wasn’t fair. The photographer, David Alan Harvey, was accused of sexual harassment of 11 young women. They feel like Magnum and Harvey are getting off way too easily. What is a 76 year old man doing chasing 25 year old women? I’m sorry to say that it was guys like Harvey who taught me to see and work this way.
