The theme parks in Orlando are reopening and Legoland Florida is the first major theme park to reopen after the COVID-19 pandemic closed the doors. Legoland Florida theme park is located in Winter Haven, FL just outside of Orlando. The new hours of operation for the theme park is daily 10am-5pm and Legoland Water Park is open daily from 12 noon to 4pm. I saw a post in one of my travel groups about Legoland Florida reopening June 1st, during the time of our vacation, and that masks were not a requirement.

Although the transportation within Disney World is free to all visitors, Good Neighbor Hotel Guests do not get complimentary airport transportation. Good Neighbor Hotels also usually offer complimentary shuttles to the parks. Some Good Neighbor hotels even offer free breakfast, which is potentially better for a budget vacation than charging privileges or complimentary delivery service. Also, they may offer complimentary shuttle service to the parks and complimentary breakfast, but they will not include any of those other perks that come with on-site hotels.

These tips can help you make the most out of your road trip and maybe even help family road trips become your favorite adventures. If you don’t have any expectations on how you think your road trip should be, you won’t be disappointed when it doesn’t go according to plan. Except for a strict schedule, it is pointless hitting the roads to see the country if you don’t spend some time on the back roads. Your Roadtrippers app and Yeti full of healthy snacks will be no relief when your toddler is having a melt down and the entire car smells like your teenager’s gym bag.
