Though we found some spots that looked some what like this, the majority of the city was colourful like the rest of Sweden. Being a coffee addict, of course we began our adventure day at Gothenburgs best coffee shop according to trip adviser and a few friends who had said we cannot miss it. Fika means having a break, somewhat like an afternoon tea snack – usually a cake of some sort, strong black coffee and and in the presence of friends or co workers. Be sure to check out the Universeum, the beautiful Archipelago and a day of trills and excitement, spend a full day at Gothenburg’s famous theme park Liseburg.
As you’ve seen in the title, we visited the Grand Canyon South Rim during the shoulder or ‘off’ season in early March, however, I have also been at the beginning and end of September, so I have a little bit to compare it to. In the main car park at the South Rim Visitors Centre, snow was covering quite a few of the car parks, meaning a lot less spots to choose from. Your best bet is to stay in Tusayan, a cute little town around 4km from the South Rim. Our hotel stay for one night was Food prices are pretty average in Tusayan – our entrees at the Mexican restaurant were around the $14 mark (plus tips don’t forget).
