A few months ago, I received an email from Tiffany & Co. to take part in an exciting trip starting in Antwerp and ending in Mauritius to learn and discover the journey of a Tiffany diamond. Click here to learn more about the story behind Tiffany & Co. We spent 2 nights in Antwerp at the timeless looking Hotel De Witte Lelie, a boutique hotel with a beautiful courtyard which set the scene of Antwerp perfectly. On day one we got straight into action and headed to the diamond district of Antwerp to learn and see the early processes of rough Tiffany diamonds. The following day we spent time on-board a catamaran sailing along the coast of Mauritius starting from the beach outside our room.

For sunset we had a driver take us above Budva for some views over the entire coastline and town, This was the highlight of Budva for me and I’d highly recommend heading up here for sunset, theres a few spots up there usually near churches that I think are the best spots for sunset, it was about a 15 – 20 minute drive from the hotel, I’m not sure of the names of the locations, but if you show our images, all the drivers should know how to get to these spots After spending quite some time in the sun we headed back to old town to a little cafe that served fresh juices & vegan options for lentil salads etc that I found on happy cow (our go to). In the afternoon we took a drive to a Kotor where we took a boat trip around the lake/bay to see the monastery and lake side towns then went back up into the hills for sunset. Our final day in Montenegro we went for a trip to Kotor again, this time we were heading to do the hike above the bay which is above a church, its a nice hike, pretty easy and stairs the whole day, gets really hot so best to go earlier, but the view at the top makes it worth it!

We were so stoked because not only is New Orleans a new and exciting place to tick off the list, but also because Uber is company that we both love and use so regularly during our every day travel life! The aim of this trip was to explore the streets of New Orleans and all the city has to offer, while riding with Uber and documenting the experience in a short video. One travelling tip I took away from this trip was how good the Saved Places feature within the Uber app is. Since the trip I’ve been looking forward to the feature spreading to cities internationally so we can use it to save hotels, cafes etc in every new city we stay in, like a personalised city guide.

Most people associate Tahiti with honeymooners and luxury 5 star hotels only affordable to the rich, which is definitely the case in some parts, but theres a lot of Tahiti thats affordable for everyone and great for travelling with friends. We were here for 2 nights and spent most of our time cruising around in a boat searching for sharks and sting rays. The days went by so fast and we were pretty sad to be leaving the beautiful island of Moorea, but at the same time super excited to check out the famous islands of Bora Bora. It’s a really cool and easy to use app that basically finds you cash back automatically by scanning millions of cash back offers from more than 100,000 merchants — like Forever 21, Applebee’s, Marriott, Hyatt and more.
