Hi! We are Jeanne & Tai! A Mom & Son team traveling, homeschooling, blogging and working our way around the world. Wanting to escape the rat race and desperately trying to find a balance between work and play, I decided to 360 our lives and go traveling. We started our travels at the beginning of 2017 and have been on the road and loving it, ever since. Join us on our travel blog, as we travel to new places, eat exotic food, dance in the rain and look for high adventure wherever we go!

How Gaming Can Promote Development and Education in Your Child’s Life

For some children, it’s easy to become obsessed with a particular game or gaming in general. That’s why we wanted to share some information and advice for how video games can be used to benefit child development: Along with following text instructions during gameplay, children who are into a particular game are likely to research websites and Internet forums to read information about the game. If your child ever becomes interested in pursuing a career in software development, web development, computer systems engineering, business intelligence analysis, computer programming, or database administration, among many other fields, then their gaming could prove to come in quite handy!

Now that you know about the best travel apps for kids, you will have a good time on long roads with kids.

Week 16: Southern Chilean Patagonia's Fjords & Torres del Paine

After an hour or two of bouncing between ferry booking agencies, I decided to change our plans altogether and instead of driving down the Carretera Austral and coming back up by ferry, we would take the Navimag ferry south from Puerto Montt to Puerto Natales and then drive back up the Carretera Austral. We had excellent thin-based pizzas at Base Camp, the most ginormous burgers I have ever eaten at Baguele’s Brewery, delicious food and huge slices of cake at Patachic 58 and the most amazing and much needed hot showers at Erratic Rock Hostel. We’d had a late start leaving Puerto Natales and getting to Torres Del Paine Park had taken an unexpected 2 hours. As we get further south, so the sun sets later affording us more time to finish excursions and get home before dark Puerto Natales may be near the end of the earth, but the wifi here is some of the best we’ve had in all of South America!

Week 15: Osorno, Lake Llanquihue & Puerto Varas in Chile

Week 14: San Carlos de Bariloche and the Seven Lakes Route in Argentina Week 11: 4×4 in Malargue and Pehuenche Pass to Chile Week 8: He arranged the brake specialist and took us to his sister’s café where we spent the day working and homeschooling. Lake Llanquihue is said to be the best trout fishing spot in all of Chile and Tai’s rod needed a fish on the end of it. WHERE TO NEXT With great excitement at the prospect of not driving for a few days, we are going to board the Navimag Ferry in Puerto Montt and sail our way down to Puerto Natalas in Southern Patagonian Chile.
