Our next family friendly activity was the kids’ favorite part of the weekend, the tree climbing adventure park, Parc Aventure Geneve. A huge, sprawling flat grassy park, with a playground, adventure park, track, and skateboard park. Right now Hotel Bristol Geneva is having a Family Time special with the Geneva Box and an automatic upgrade to adjoining rooms when traveling with a family. And for peace of mind, I have silenced her phone during school hours, which is a super easy function to modify on my end on any time from my phone. I remember the first time I saw a 4 year old girl walking to school by herself. But then my 5 year old was for the first and last time being walked to school for her first day of kindergarten by both of her parents and her little sister. But the kids, from age 4, walking peacefully to and from school and after school activities like tiny adults, minus the baggage.
I have come a long way from my first review on our week at a Kinderhotel 5 years ago. One day I wanted to spend a couple hours on my bed in my room alone reading my book. But with the beautiful view outside, our friends we traveled with, the swimming pool, spa, gym, horse riding, sledding, skiing, and missing my own kids, I felt guilty sitting by myself reading.
